Spike and Mike's Sick and Twisted Animation Festival, just held at the Alamo Drafthouse in Downtown Austin.
Alamo Drafthouse is a movie theatre with every other row removed, and a table put in... wait staff take and deliver your order before the feature, and then leave you during the movie (alone unless you signal them over by writing out your order, and sticking it in a clip on your table.)
Cool premise, good food, and the features for the festival were hysterical.
Great way to see classic movies, as well as current releases as well.

the plus about Alamo Drafthouse, is just as the name implies...."draft's" during the movie - for those who don't know what I mean, Alamo Drafthouse is one of the very few movie theaters around that you can drink beer, yes beer, while you watch the movie. You can have pizza, beer, etc.....which I think is pretty cool. Not all that much of a beer drinking anymore, but still cool nonetheless

I have enjoyed going to the Alamo Draft House. It's a nice different setting for a movie.
