I've decided i've been having too much fun in here to let an individual ruin it for me. As a lovely lady told me in a pm, Chin up, boobs out. Thank you all for messages of encouragement.

This weekend was supposed to be a birthday celebration for me. But with all the boat ramps closed, parks, restaurants and such not available we tried to make the most of our own back yard.

What's you favorite fish to go after? I spent a whole lotta nights chasing after Striped Bass off the rocks up here in the Mid-Atlantic. Farthest south I've been fishing is Okrakoke for Reds.

It wasn't warm enough for swimming, but i kept some swimmers on just in case the sun came out.

And just to be naughty, every now and then when the kids were somewhere else, i tried to get him hard. It was fun watching him try to hide it when we had company again. Probably some motorists got a bit of a peek though. We're right on the road.

I make my own rules in here and i break them when i want.

I like them all. I'm an equal opportunity piscatorial pursuer. Locally, we target natives like Golden Perch, Bass, Silver Perch, Eel tailed catfish (jewfish) and occasionally we travel to the estuaries to target salt water species like flathead and bream and whiting.

A bad day fishing beats a great day at work and so long as something's biting i'm happy to reel it in no matter what sort of fish it is.

Yeah, your right about a bad day fishing. Long ago, I used to love chasing down yellow perch when they would be spawning. Such awesome hits...little gold mepps spinner would get whacked as soon as it hit the water. Bass on a June bug dragged through the lillies is also a favorite. Really nothing I don't like about fishing.
