No births eventuating here. Those days are done. I think it's important to stay playful in the face of fear. If we give in to panic and desperation our humanity will erode. Tom and i were talking about it all in the pool yesterday as we drank beer and frolicked. Isolation for us is not going to be devastating. Financially it will hurt but our core happiness won't be touched. People are letting the panic change who they are.

The one that looks like a bass is an Australian native fish called a golden perch. We call them 'yellowbellies'. The other one you called a fluke, is known locally as a dusky flathead. That one went 65cm which is getting a bit too big to really keep as they are the breeders. It's a personal best flatty for me. Bloody Tom had to outfish me and go 67cm that day.
