Ahhh.. so just copy and paste links.. got it

Copy and paste is fine, but if you want to explain what it is, then use the hyperlink button, the http://

Then you can type in the description, eg My Stories, click OK, then paste the URL in, click OK.

It comes up as the description, underlined, to show it's a link

The IMG tag is used in the body of a post, and requires an IMAGE as a target -- script calls that return images like attachment.php aren't images. Images end in JPG, GIF, BMP, or TIF as far as the IMG tag is concerned. (there might be other image formats that work, but I don't know of any specific cases.)

The <img src=""> format is what you need to use in your signature line, and HTML will accept script calls as an image source.

You need to use just the one syntax that fits the intended location -- combining the two won't work in either place.

Clever girl

Wow! Thank you, and Ladybird too! I have a pet bird now! :)

Can the images be left, right or center justified?

Can two images be ligned up horizontally, or do they stagger themselves as in your own signature, Dragonette?
(If I were to add another)

Depends on the size of them and yes, you can make them right aligned

<img src=http://url align=right>

And if you use P for paragraph, they can go under each other, eg.
<P Center>text</P>

Thanks again!

I think I may decide to put the other into a text page where I need it instead, rather than have such a long sig, (big bird!)
Wow, watching the bird is cool... but I almost get tired... like it's flying against the wind, not getting anywhere!
~laughing~

OK, off to the Bohemian to see if I can put the other animation in there on post 1.

Thanks again, you're the greatest!

Once it is in your signature, it will show on every post
Just refresh the page

I'm baaack! Lol!!!

I think I want to confine this gent only to the first post at the Bohemian...

Ok, I can't figure out how to construct this string to justify right...

Does align=right follow the word .gif, and if so, anything inbetween them?

Or does the url align=right precede the actual web addresss?

space after the .gif, then align=right

You need to just add it as a picture, just like you did here!

Edit that post

He he... I stuck him in the signature because I couldn't get the right justification to work on the single post...

It may have something to do with the fact that I'm using the "advanced mode"?

Nope, as far as I know, you can't justify within the message

Weird Harold can help you there, he is very good!
