As you can see above you have an extra HTTP:// in the URL. If you used the popup dialog box, which automatically inserts the HTTP://. Select that before you insert the URL you want. The pic will then show up.

And you sir, didn't select a picture, you used the link to the page of the picture. It would seem that Flicker doesn't allow you to copy the Image Address. So, instead of making this a an image post, make it an URL post.

When I try and post an imgur link via insert image it always seems to disappear from the post! Hmmm

When you are on the image page, on Imgur, right click on the image and then click on the "Copy Image Address" then paste into the image dialog box on Lit.

In the case of the post where I found the image address, I had to look at the page code to find the embedded image. Luckily I was a software engineer for 45 years of my life.

Nope, and unless you own the copyright to that image it's a no-no to store it on lit. Eventually, someone, not me of course, will report it to the higher ups and it will disappear.
