I can see it in the images I uploaded before, but how can I link to the uploaded picture?

I can't insert it as an image again!
Oh, maybe I have to delete it from the list of pictures I have uploaded first and do it again?

With the eleimination of HTML from signatures, youcan no longer use attachments as a source for images in your signature because they're not a direct link to an image file as required for the vB IMG tags.

If you still wish to have that image in your signature, you need to find someplce to host it other than Lit's attachment database.

For alist of what is possible with vB code, see the help page: https://forum.literotica.com/misc.php?do=bbcode

Thanks

I checked that link earlier and fixed my sig line but without any picture.
I'll work on it later.
If I delete the uploaded pictures in my CP, can I add them again as an attachment later? and the option of thumbnails doesn't work in there either, means having to click on each one.
As they are in the database, is there any way to link to them?

Thanks for taking the time to reply
:)

I've looked for a Testing Thread and couldn't fine one. I've posted on other boards but this one is a little different.

Sooooooooooo, rather than editing a few times before I get it right, I took it upon myself to start a thread where you can test your posting, and get to know how to use all the fancy options.

Testing Link Only

test

  • first bulleted item
  • second bulleted item
things could be worse

withthe upgrade to vBulletin 3.0, you can edit any post to add or remove an attachment -- under previous versions you had to add the attachment when you originally created the post befor eyou could edit to change an attachment.

Without being able to use HTML, there is no way to display an attachment as anything other than a link (with the way Literotica has the attachment display option configured.) The only method now available at Lit for linking images to signatures or posts are the vB IMG tags and they require a direct URL to an image file -- a link ending in JPG, BMP, PNG, or other image format identifier.

HTML has recently been disabled in signatures and that trick no longer works. Attachments don't meet the "direct URL of an image file" requirement for the vB code IMG tags, which is now the only way to link an image into your signature.
