The man reportedly met the four women at a nightclub on Sunday, March 31, and was offered a ride home by them. Police said they left the club in a silver Honda SUV, but they did not make it back to the victim’s home.

Instead, the SUV driver — said to be a blond haired woman with a British accent — took the group to an empty parking lot where the women allegedly assaulted the 19 year old. All four women were described as white and in their 30s, wearing black dresses and high heels. Police are still searching for leads.

"MILF-pack warning out in Toronto!"

The comments are just disgusting. Saying he didn't like it because they were ugly, incredulous that he couldn't fight them off, etc. Some people are taking it seriously.

No one would be laughing if it was four thirty-year old men who were raping a 19 year old girl.

Cruel is right. The failure to believe a woman could force a man to perform sexual activities against his wish or to take that seriously is part of the problem.

As a MILF with a British accent I was going to post something flip here but luckily I thought twice about it. I understand the temptation to make a joke out of an unusual situation, but rape is rape and a young man who has been through an ordeal of this kind deserves respect.
:rose:

To consider it a joke along the lines of the man being lucky is an insult to women as well as to men. For men, it denies them the right to say yes or no, and to women it declares that they are merely sex objects and entirely interchangeable.

I'm a huge patriarchy hating, feminist dyke, but this is NOT the way to fight patriarchy. These women need to pay for what they did to this boy. I hope the survivor here has a good support system and is taken care of. My heart goes out to him and his family.

I agree, this is despicable!

Well at least the comments seem to be getting better. When I checked, there were people calling out the horrible choice of stock photo and recognizing that it should be treated as any other rape.

The article didn't say it was rape, only assault. There is a difference, apparently. There was little detail in the story and of course the picture was lurid, but there was no mention of knives, ropes, chains, or whips in the article.

What was in his mind that he got into a car with four women after a night of drinking?

Did he wake up naked in a car park?

Did they just tickle him until he puked?

yeah actually there would be some guys laughing. There always are, in any news item that allows comments. Also comments claiming that women lie about being raped and that this one (or that one, or the other one) are therefore lying too.

There isn't much difference between rape and assault, for the victim.

Those words mostly only describe two different societal attitudes towards what happened to you.

Women DO rape men.Men rape men, too. We deny it pretty strenuously, though.

(Women lying about being raped is much less common than women lying about NOT being raped.)

I completely agree. Rape is rape, and is reprehensible, regardless of gender.

The people both here, and in the article's comments, ARE patriarchal misogynists, btw. They demean a rape survivor because he was over powered and raped by "mere" women and deride him because of it.

There are the same people who tell a woman she "was asking for it". The "blame the victim" mentality is simply a reflection of how much they suck.

P.S. The difference between rape and sexual assault is minimal. Sexual assault is construed as rape without penetration in most jurisdictions and is every bit as disgusting.

But also bears mentioning that men sexually assault women a LOT more often than vice versa. A man being sexually assault rates headlines line this. A woman being sexually assault rates a line entry in a multi-page crime report and a bored yawn from most people.

P.S. Nice hat, Stella! I've got one just like it (and the tractor to match! :D )

They would be if it were four high school football players date raping a girl. All kinds of funny ha-has there.

Especially their "punishment" fuckers should be doing a minimum of 5 years apiece.

So don't be too sure it would be taken more seriously.

And if it were the middle east it would be called a public service

Or the midwest. Or the southeast. Or the northeast, the southwest, the left coast, the east coast...
On the internet there are always men who cheer on rapists. Or who deny that rape exists. Or both at the same time. It's become an American pastime!

Yes, see my edited post. I decided to rag on the cock suckers in this country as well.

I want to be fair after all.

I almost hate to say it, but it's still a plot bunny. A dark one, definitely, and it would be interesting to write from the point of view of the young man, to go through a conflicting series of thoughts . . . first, "Cool! Four cougars! How lucky can I get?" And then, later, to the realization that he had been abused and raped.

As I've mentioned in another thread, I've known a few men who have been raped. It's as devastating for a man as it is for a woman. Having been a CID investigator, I was privy to some very painful stories from both men and women who were sexually assaulted. The details were different, but the pain was the same.

My first case after I graduated involved a guy set up by two women for homosexual rape. The guy went to a bar, picked up two women, went home with them, where they drugged him, and some other guys sodomized him. Then they dumped his naked ass downtown.

He was probably asking for it, wearing those slutty bluejeans and that tramp plaid shirt.

STELLA youre on Iggy till you stop the bullshit and play nice.

Oh not 'arf.
I wondered about 'revenge' in that several of the blokes who laughed are treated to a similar experience. OR
The local football team have them.
