A sleep aid could be added to the list of benefits.
I’ll have to pass on the milk and cookies, I’m working hard to trim the waistline 😂

From what I have read, which is limited, the main reason for not falling asleep seems to be the on going thoughts that keep 'popping up '. It's mostly a habitual process that is difficult to unlearn.
There is hope, I learned to do so in my teen's and almost never had any issues falling asleep after. Hope this helps.
