Loved your post! You are right, different flavours suit different moods.

We do have those jelly beans here, and we have something even more peculiar: Harry Potter Beans. They have some wierd flavours: mustard, cinnamon, cucumber, and those are the tame ones. I once made the mistake of buying my daughters a pack each (I didn't have a clue they were "odd") and they promptly threw up.

I'm pretty sure that the Harry Potter beans are made by the Jelly Belly company. The company's pretty close to me (or they were. They just moved) and their factory tours are famous.

I voted strawberry, but lemon is my passion. Not found in ice cream, but lemon sorbet from a gelateria in Italy is the closest thing to a scoop of heaven I've ever found.

Although I'm more for Vanilla, I have to say I think one of the biggest achievements of modern technolgy and the human mind besides Space Travel or Artificial Intelligence is the fact that people found out, 'Chocolate sets free endorphines (spelling?)'
So chocolate always comes in handy.

Sorry, a bit of a hobby horse for me. One of the main reasons I stopped being a computer programmer is I kept pissing off my 'peers' by making the comment above.

As far as flavours go,

Ice cream: Maple Walnut.

Other foods: Beef

People: female, past the age of consent. I do have some scruples. No, and not with fava beans and a nice chianti either.

Those things are aweful, and of course my sick minded kids got me everytime- oh heres a lime one mom- it was grass flavoured- not bad however.

Pink- mom its grapefruit, we know you like grapefruit- Barf- To that date I had never spit in public, it was either spit or puke one or the other!

My kids hate licorice, Im okay with it but dont really really like it so they gave them to me- they were dirt! Thought I ate enough of that as a kid, guess not!

You gotta love your kids when they are much brighter then yourself.

Destine, when you described your favourite flavour all I could do was switch back and forth from your AV and thought how the descriptions matched what I saw, I wonder what would be the white chocolate- melted of course!

Whatever you do, stay away from chartreuse and slategrey. The first ones are boogers, and the secnd are concrete - chips your teeth into gravel!
