Ted Cruz And Lost Causes

Nope, it sets him up for bigger things in the future. Americans understand that he listens to them, unlike the Surrender Caucus in the French Republican Party.

Oh absolutely, he's used God knows how many government dollars to fund his lookee-me publicity stunts, and he's the Flavor Of The Month amongst the fickle True Believer cult.

Keep in mind that at one time Herman Cain was the Anointed One as well. Keep things in perspective. And they also though Sarah Palin had a chance too.

19 out of 100 seems about right. That is roughly the same percentage that went down with the Dubya ship as well.

He'd be maintaining a proper well known course, away from such hazards, so please sneak off, while you still can.

Do shut up. You said he should be paying attention to the binnacle so he could see rocks and shoals ahesd. You probably think a sheet on a boat is a fucking sail, you moron.

Apparently your own Dallas news media is unaware of it, perhaps you should call them and let them in on the truth.

Puhleeze. Dallas is NRA/Ayn Rand country. They're still whining for gw to make some more wars so they can say, "I'm a real patriot."

I'd rather remember the Reagan experience, that was overlooked until it was all over.

Ah yes, the good ole days when a Republican could sell stinger missles to the Ayatollah and not be held responsible for his actions.

...when a Republican could rely on a professional astrologer to divine opportune moments to invade countries....

...when a Republican could order 240 Marines to their death by sticking them in a lightly guarded hotel instead of offshore on a Navy carrier...

....when a Republican could lay a wreath at a German SS cemetery.

Those were the days, weren't they?

Stupid non sequiturs, I was addressing the run-up to the Reagan Presidency.

Non-sequiturs?

Oh my, no, those are the defining moments of the Reagan administration!

Although you could put in a valid argument for kicking the Beach Boys off the Washington Mall Independence Day celebration in favor of Wayne Newton, but that's a bit too obscure for most folks.

And how bout that William Casey negotiating with Khomeni to keep the hostages in Iran until after Reagan was sworn in?

Good times.....

I will say that Wayne put on a decent show. I was there.

Reagan exploded the deficit (Obama has cut it), raised the debt limit 15 times with no controversy, presided over Benghazi-level terror attacks on something like a monthly basis, and paid ransom for hostages. Wonder if we can impeach him retroactively?
