So I am on my snazzy new cordless phone and I am chit chatting. I go to put a dish in the sink (full of water) and said phone drops in...it was only in for a second but it is not working now (I know I know) my question is...if I let it dry for a day or so do you think it will work again??????

I took the battery out and it is just drying away.....

edit to say...Caly old phone is charging now...DAMMIT

If you still have the packaging and sears sells it just repackage it and take it to sears and say it was a gift that didn't work. They will do a no receipt exchange without real thought. Gotta love what commision sales does to a employees mind.

Yes. You can. Been there. Done that. It's no problem.

Just back from Sears...new phone all ready to go...and they even let me keep the charged battery! lol
