What media player would someone recommend to support AVI files, or is there a way to convert my Real Player?

Free downloads would be fantastic, but not necessary.

My Windows player is not accepting the files. It's only playing the audio.

You don't have the right codec installed
find which codec was used to encode the file, and dl the appropriate codec
