I've been into BDSM since I turned **, and every partner I've had for the past 6 years (Since I'm now **) has also been into BDSM and we've gotten along great.
However, I recently started seeing someone new about 3 months ago, and he's quite vanilla. There isn't anything wrong with that, since I enjoy a lot of different flavors.
The thing is, I don't believe I could ever really leave my precious BDSM behind- I crave to be dominated, to be touched in certain ways and spoken to in certain ways.
And it's great that he wants to give BDSM a try for my sake, and I can see that he could be a really great dom... only if I could get him to stop feeling nervous or embarassed so that he would stop laughing every so often when he tries to be dominant in ways that I tried to communicate to him.
But I think that he needs to read some articles or something so that he can feel more comfortable about BDSM as a whole, and know what to do for stuff like spanking, humiliation, and just ordering around in general.
Since it's at the point that he's having a hard time grasping the concept, and I have a hard time communicating everything with him- I was hoping that you guys could give me some suggestions about what I could say exactly or link me to some that describes the many aspects of BDSM in detail: particularly spanking, humiliation, and a bit about objectification or about being treated as a pet.
Anything would be greatly appreciated!
