Isn't the general rule, the closer to the bone you are the more painful it'll be eg ankle or finger?

I can sure think of a place with no bone (youd be forgiven for thinkin there is ) which would be bloody painful

Seen a really cool pic of a dragon once that used the area with no bone (heehee) I need to see if I still have it and post it. Was way cool!!!

Kat...you do need to keep them out of the sun for the first few weeks....or out of the tanning tube..but most tat artists allow you one free touch up. I live in CA and ride all through the year, the tat is generally on show, but no fading here.

Learned that the hard way ~ was managing a chain of tanning salons at the time and tanning a bunch, should have went somewhere and had it done again. But, most peeps couldn't see it anyway, so just let it go. The guy was a traveler, had it done at a biker bash thing out of town....won't do that again either. Next one will be local.

Yes love, always use a local guy..saying that, mine is 90 miles away lol..but good..and I love to ride to where he is..Old Sacramento...wooden boardwalks, old style saloons, old style town....wonderful ride and nice grub too.

Have been to Sacramento, my brother used to live in Modesto. Flew out for Thanksgiving one year. They took me north one day to the the mountains, so beautiful and south to San Fran another, rained most of the day there, yuck!!

I know this has nothing to do with tats, sorry!

LOL blue....I feel for ya babe! Been there, mine has actually gotten better w/time...Of course, there are still times when i'd like to fling the damned ring at him. Then again, my whole body would go w/it... ....which he would like so....n/m....its a fucked up world we live in. You get a tat to prove ur love and devotion, and end up not being able to throw it at the fucker!

To hop in on this board EXTREMELY late...I have three tattoos.

On my upper right arm, I have the Kanji glyph for "Samurai". That's supposed to remind me to be honest, caring and honourable. It works most of the time. The rest of the time, I'm too busy with handcuffs and nipple clamps and hoowehay.

On my lower left arm, I have a black oriental dragon with one glaring red eye. This, I got cos, frankly, I love oriental culture, and I believe the dragon to be one of the most glorious of animals, whether fantasy or real.

On my upper left arm I have a glyph that is a tribal representation; of a mixture between a railroad track and a skyscraper. This, I feel, represents mankind's improvement as well as the future; something that I as a science fiction writer devote my thoughts to an awful lot.

God I love that electric chair, the sound of the gun, it's all so awesome!! If I had the money I would prolly turn my body into one big canvas...but of course being a mother of 4 ppl might frown upon that...lol

Digital cam would be a kewl idea, if ya had someone there to snap pics at different stages during the tat! That would be really kewl.
