She nodded to her as she tried to calm down seeing a waiter talk with the loud customers

Megan smiled and then moved in and gave Rick a quick peck before walking away

Rick turned to Talia and held her close, the sister comment was interesting, but he would ask about that later

It's okay, I know the action was uncomfortable, would you like to stay a little longer and have some coffee or another drink and listen to Danny, or would you like us to get out of here?

We can try to stay for a little longer

She moved to finish her drink.

He slid in next to her, holding her hand, as they drank their coffees

Are you doing okay, I hope you are enjoying dinner and Danny? And I am sorry about Megan...

...sisters?

He laughed, no more two different women ever existed ...one he loved and filled his life with passion...the other...quite the opposite

She whispered to him

It would be nice not to have most everyone on campus distrust hate or be jealous of me. What else was I going to say. Pity it took me no longer being able to sleep with your fiancee for us to really talk and be nice to each other

Hopefully working with Dr. Blackwell would help get them back to how they were

Chuckling, “I’m actually okay with it being a bit more awkward between you two”

She smiled to him.

He leaned in and kissed her cheek

It isn't just making love to you I miss...I miss the dancing and you just being free and enjoying life...I loved looking at things through your eyes

I want to get it all back for you....you know I will do anything

I want to get back to all of that too. It hurts not being that way but it also scared me to be that bold and outgoing.

She shrugged and tried to smile to him.

He took her hand

It scares me now to be like that. After...

She just shook her head and sighed.

He took her into his arms, hugging her softly and talking barely above a whisper

I know you know this intellectually

But you, your actions had nothing to do with what happened....he was a monster and what he did was about control and violence

He started to make a joke...but it was not the time

It wouldn't have mattered how you were dressed, or how you acted, it wasn't sex or passion for him, it was violence and a sick, demented mind

Don't ever let yourself think anything different

She smiled snuggling in close to him. She felt safe and like she could be that person again with him but how. Perhaps Dr Blackwind would help her figure that out.

He also hoped Dr. Blackwood could help, but he was curious about her "unusual techniques"

She smiled to him

Her name is BlackWIND not wood. I actually look forward to talking to her.

She smiled standing up looking to him but stepping closer to him as a waiter walked over. The man holding out a bag to her.

The lady who spoke with you purchased this for you and your friend. She said she felt she should do something whatever that means. The bag had a dessert in it as well as a family feast pasta special with a note.

Keep getting better you are going to get past this

The gesture was very sweet...not the selfish girl that he had known

But it also made Rick feel terrible...he hadn't really meant to hurt her

But he loved Talia, and for him it was her or nothing...they would never have a future and he felt like crap for using her like this...something had to change

She was surprised to say the least looking to him confused. Always still felt like she hated me but...

She shrugged taking the bag and walking out with him

She's not a bad person...she just has never had much of a thirst for adventure...or really life the way most people want to experience it

Well I will get back to that I know... I can't imagine living like she does.

She smiled to him trying to feel hopeful. Honestly she just wanted to get home and snuggle up with him and relax and sleep safe and secure and loved.

Rick didn't want to think about Megan so he let that drop and they walked to his car

Letting her in and then sliding into the driver's seat he curled his finger toward her

So...all night as I've watched you, I have just wanted a single kiss, that I knew I couldn't do there...

...but we are no longer in public...so?

She leaned over closer to him with a soft smile.

That would be nice

His hand gripping her waist he leaned in and kissed her slowly and softly, not wanting anything to scare her or make her pull away

He remembered back to their weekend at the lake, how they had made love in the alley way, intense, hot, lust filled, fucking....somehow they would get back there

He broke the kiss, and started the car, taking her home where she could feel safe

She pressed into the kiss a little more and once it broke smiled to him.
