Yes, "Unique" is one way to put it, I found her quite fascinating as well...and with Dr. Blackwood, my guess is you and I don't want to know the resources that she may tap into to assist our Talia. We should just be appreciative and move on.

The more Rick got to know the Dean, the more similar he realized they were. While not his type, as no one at this point would ever be his type inf Talia were the alternative option, he could see the aspects that the Dean found attractive in the provocative Dr., and it was clear the Dean also saw many of the same beguiling aspects of Talia that he did

Sir, I am making progress with Talia, but it is two steps forward, one step back...she has flashbacks and it terrifies her

I hope you and your daughter understand...she is a broken girl and a very important young woman to out university, as you know...thank you for helping me and her in so many ways...I know her family appreciates all you have done

I am trying to keep her understanding by reminding her of just who Talia's grandparents are. May send her on vacation for a few days see if the distance will do her some good. You just keep taking care of Talia.

Thank you sir, I think some time away would be nice, maybe a small cruise with one of her girlfriends where she could go completely unplugged and just relax

Rick was pleased as he walked out of the Dean's office, the man clearly supportive...for now

"Pizza sound great, if you want to order, I will pick up from Luigi's...I can't wait to get back to you, whatever you want to do tonight is fine!"

She smiled at his words.

Her response made him happy, she was trying to push herself

He called and got them a corner table in the quaint little Trattoria

"I'll be home in 20 minutes, we have reservations at 7:00 ...Love you"

Once she hung up she became worried about what to wear to keep covered up out around people. She settled on a heavy sweater and jeans.

Rick got home and saw her

He tossed on jeans and a quarter zip sweater

And at 7:00 PM, they walked into Luigi's

I think Danny is playing piano tonight

She nodded and curled close to him as the host walked over to seat them. She smiled trying to stay calm as the host pulled her chair out for her. Sitting down she let her eyes fall on her love and safety once more.

He laughed, thrilled to see her playful and teasing again

I do not doubt you, I just never take it for granted, and I do want you to meet my friend

He raised his hand signaling the piano player

Danny, can you come here for a minute, I want you to meet a very special lady?

She tried to resist the instinct to curl closer to him for safety as she bit her lip.

As Danny came over, Rick sensed her apprehension

He instinctively moved closer to her, putting his arm around her

Danny, this is Talia, my love...Talia, this is my, piano man, and if you ask nicely he might even play it for us...it puts Billy Joel to shame...in my opinion that is

He laughed, teasing his friend...proud to be with Talia

She bit her lip wondering if this friend knew he was engaged to someone else and if they would tell the fiancee.

She smiled a little before curling against him to listen to the music while they ate.

Danny was good, and Rick’s spaghetti and pizza were great

Suddenly Rick saw Danny signal to him

He turned and removed his arm from Talia just before he saw Megan turn toward him. Having just walked in

Making eye contact and heading their way

She saw her and it was helpful that she was already edgy having had a strange male near her. So her attempting to be comfortable out was abundantly mild shaking.

When Megan first saw them, all she could think was how dare he, what was this a damned date

She was making a beeline express, ready to give him hell and get things back in order

Daddy didn't understand, she was his daughter, not her

But then she go there, and saw how shaky Talia was, where was the sexy dancer who made everyone, Daddy, Rick, everyone drool?

She sure wasn't here...all the rage slipped away and the confused feelings came back

"Hi...what are you two doing here?"

I... I wanted to try to get out and he thought this place might be a good idea.

She reached to shake hands with her. She was sure the overly covering clothing would help her more fearful case with this woman.

Kinda second guessing my idea right now but it is progress. I actually am going to be going to talk to Dr Blackwind tomorrow. She has offered to talk to me to try to help.

Megan was surprised, she knew Daddy liked her, but she assumed it was only because she was beautiful and well...he was a man

But she considered her techniques, just slightly this way of voodoo

I know Rick likes this place, I hope it helps you on your road to recovery

The tone wasn't completely genuine, but she was at least trying to be polite

She smiled to her and thought for a moment.

It is unfortunate that such events had to happen for us to really ever interact together. After Gia left I would have been nice to have an older "sister" like person to talk to.

A couple of slightly loud talking customers walked in both male clearly preparing to celebrate something and she jumped nearly balling up in her chair trying to shrink away from anyone.

Rick moved quickly, taking her in his arms and letting her curl into him, letting him protect her
