Taking a few days off

Not by choice.

I have an internal DSL modem and my provider isn't sure it will work with their service I thought if you had a DSL modem.. it would work with any DSL server.. guess not, because they are trying to get me to buy an external one and use it.

I refused their offer of a low payment of $149.99 for a new one, until I found out if the one that is in my computer works with their server.

So I take my computer into them in the morning.. and they are hoping to have it done before 5pm (like MY computer isn't important enough to do first? sheesh).

So.. hopefully when I come back.. I'll have a DSL connection.

Cym.. it's freaking Washington state.. it's attempting to snow.. I don't step foot outside from December-June unless it's important.. Like finding out if my DSL modem is going to work. Now that is important!
