Take the Liberal Test

I called you out on your error, and you post that? Thanks for the bump. Well, 2 bumps because you bumped and I responded to the bump.

I'm in error because you directly compared gun crimes to a household budget?

just how far back do you plan on moving those goalposts?

Okay fella. Let's see how smart you really are. Post where I compared gun crimes to household budgets. Words are cheap. Quotes rule.

Waiting and listening to the crickets. I know you won't because you can't. It's really that simple.

No it's not.
Yes there is.

Obama has his 20-something X Orders that might do some good. But with all the talk in Congress, 3 major point are being discussed:
a. Assault rifle ban
b. Enacting background checks for ALL firearm sales
c. Limiting magazine capacity

The Assault rifle ban is the cornerstone in that the Pro Gun control advocates believe they need to get those guns off the street because that'll stop the mass killing where the assailant uses an assault rife. Not true.

Background checks sound good on paper, but the bad guys do not buy their guns that way. Most gun deaths are caused by bad people. Few are by law abiding citizens that kill.

Magazine capacity: 7 vs 10 vs some other arbitrary number. Knock it down to 5 and it'll still be more bullets than needed for virtually all gun related death incidents.

B and C will do little to curb gun deaths. A will curb it, at most, by 3% since 3% of deaths are by people using assault rifles.

Of the 3 options, A results in the greatest benefit. That's one reason by it is the main part of the gun control debate.

No, those are the ones you hear about because they are subject to political debate and controversy. Emergency response training, mental health initiatives, law enforcment funding and interstate law enforment coordination didn't seem to make it to your radar.

Yes, it's not true that this is a cornerstone. It's one measure in a big list. YOU have decided that it's a "cornerstone" because that's the only way to make your contrived argument hold water.

Background checks sound good on paper, but the bad guys do not buy their guns that way. Most gun deaths are caused by bad people. Few are by law abiding citizens that kill.
Isn't a straw purchase exactly that? Bad people who buy their guns that way.

What is your email address? I want to send you an Amazon Code for a free Kindle book called "Improving Comprehension."

I originally stated this because I questioned your comprehension.

Okay fella. Let's see how smart you really are. Post where I compared gun crimes to household budgets. Words are cheap. Quotes rule.

Waiting and listening to the crickets. I know you won't because you can't. It's really that simple.

Then I stated this because you asserted I made a comparison. I denied making the comparison and asked you to quote me (see bolded words).

first post.. we've been over this before.. you're not very bright, are you

And then you finish with this statement. Lacks a quote. That tells me something because you like to quote to prove a point. But I know your style. You'll continue on with the "moving the goal posts" line and the constant foot dragging.

I do not mind. keeps my threads alive.

Not on my RADAR because no one is talking about it. We are discussing Gun Control Plans. And those are not on the list.
