Take over this series?

One series that I've done in the last year and a half, titled World's End, is composed of nine chapters and has ended on a cliffhanger. It's about 54k words in total. I've just posted the ninth chapter so it's not rated yet. Six of the first eight are 'hot'. Comments have been encouraging. It's an end-of-world, mother/son, orgy, impregnation story with an unsolved mystery at it's core. You know how it goes - I've had too many ideas and too little time.
Would anyone be interested in taking this story over? Anything goes as far as I'm concerned.

...uh, I feel like I'm missing something.

Why not just end it with a tenth chapter?

I think if you read it you won't have missed anything and this request will make sense. Of course, you're welcome to end it with a tenth chapter if you like. Thanks for your interest, Voboy.

You could post a comment on your last chapter, saying basically, "I'm the author, but I don't have the time to finish this story. If any of you avid readers have a mind to continue it, have at it! You have my blessing."

Thanks for your suggestion, Carnevil9. I did add an invitation at the end of chapter nine (pending). I figured that with recent chapters pulling under 10k views and under 100 votes, as subsequent chapters normally have fewer readers, that I should also go straight to where the authors hang out and make the invitation here also. With millions of unique visitors and thousands of story posts daily, it seems that either way it may be unlikely that the person willing and able to pick up the series will even see the invitation wherever I post it. What do you think the chances are?

Would you tell the volunteer what the solution to the mystery is or is it up to them to figure that out and write it?

I think it would be more fun for all if the new author found their own solution. I think it's vague enough now to allow for many possibilities in future developments.

If you're looking for someone to finish it, post something in the Story Ideas forum and see if anyone wants to take you up on it.

It's an honor to get guidance from a veteran... I did some querying but I couldn't figure out exactly where this invitation should go. I'll do so now. Thanks!
