Take a moment...

...to count your blessings.


Mine are too numerous to count, per se, but when life's little nuances seem to take over, I find a great deal of comfort in stepping back and looking at the bigger picture.

Lately it seems that many of my friends and loved ones are in a state of transition. Often times this brings on feelings of stress and confusion that can cloud one's overall view of life. I'm not sure how many people take the time to appreciate the good while dealing with the 'not so good'. So indulge me, please, and take a moment...

Just so you know, I feel blessed to have found this community of people. It's great to know that no matter how lonely I sometimes feel, I'm never really alone. Thank you for that.

Nice sentiment. I couldn't agree with you more.

I have changed my life dramatically in the last fourteen months. I now do what I want to do, it is not easy and it brings its own burden. Now I have pursuaded my wife to devote her time to achieving the things she really wants.

We are reckless, our friends think we are crazy. We know the decision is right and, despite the problems of our summer, the future looks good.

Lit. has been a wonderful support for me. Lit. encouraged me to write, showed me I have something of value to offer and is always there.

I see people, and friends, who lack the courage to step over the threshold of the unknown, perhaps they lack a vision, a driving motivation to transform their lives, perhaps I am like you, lucky.
