Scully laughed at Kat's joke about chest hair. "Depends on what kind you're going for. There's the silky, smooth kind you have..." He stood up and lifted his shirt, showing off his chest hair that trailed down in a strip down his stomach. "And the manly kind." He wasn't overtly muscular like the other men at the table, but he had tone on him and a trim figure that his loose-fitting shirt typically hid. He had the build of someone made for speed instead of brute strength.
He dropped his shirt back down, nothing bothering to tuck it in and sat down again. Kumio was a tough nut to crack. Taciturn, serious, reticent. A flash of suspicion crossed his mind, but he pushed it back down. People in his line of work tended to develop such personalities. Just because the last few years had been the most paranoid of Scully's life didn't mean that this young lady was anything like the Night Candles.
"Are you always this quiet or are you just overwhelmed to be in the presence of five beautiful people all at once?" he asked with a smile. "Come, you're among friends here. If money is what you need, then you're in good company. Even if there isn't work to be found in the city, there's a whole countryside to explore." His face lit up and he gave the whole table a beaming grin. "We could be adventurers! We'll call ourselves The Magnificent Seven!"
They all gave him a look and at least two of them pointed out at the same time that even if Kumio joined them, there would only be six. "Ah, ah, you're forgetting someone." He drew his silver dagger with a flourish and embedded the point in the table with the inscription facing everyone. "Katerina's coming with us too. What kind of man would I be to leave her behind after all we've been through together."
