So in my home country there is a TV-show where wives swap families for a week. Translating the title it's called "Your Wife, My Wife." Dutch people probably know it.

Now there is nothing sexual about this program, but it did inspire me a bit.

So what if the TV-show was X-rated and sex was included in this swap. Also, for versatility, all the women in a household would swap places. Of course only families where everyone is 18+ are considered for the show.

Every episode sees the women of 2 families swap places and have sex with the men of the other family for a week.

This would also mean that each episode includes 2 sides of this swap. Reuniting with their own families could also be included at the end.

Whenever I saw the US show Wife Swap I often thought it would be great to use the episodes to include intimacy before they return to their own home.

Having the 2 couples being very different physically would be half the fun, as they uncover something new. There is usually an uptight woman in each episode. Would be nice seeing the other man bringing out her wild side.

I think one fun thing to play with would be the reality show aspect as well as the chance for some family members to change their personalities for the camera or because their other family members aren’t there.

For example: brother is shy and an introvert who is normally a bit of a doormat for his much more domineering sister.

When sis comes back, she sees the swap sister/s and mom giving him hugs and telling him that he’s free to call them any time.

Or for the reality show aspect:

For example:

My own thought was more in the line of writing it like it's a TV show so the production assistant wouldn't be written about.

I think a way to do it without making the production team active characters is to make the manipulation more obvious.

Like in normal reality tv a common tactic is to just make sure the place is stocked with booze. People get drunk, judgement gets impaired, instant drama.

So on a typical episode the parents or college age kids have a few drinks decide “well we’re on a porn series anyway, why not?” A bit of drunken sex with one family member and then by the end of the week the swapped families are having wild orgies.

But this time they have not just one reluctant family but two. Legally they can’t say “you gotta fuck on camera” but even pointing out to them at the start that bonuses can be paid to the families based on view counts and an even bigger one if their episode is chosen to go in promos doesn’t encourage them…so unless the crew wants to junk a week’s work, they gotta get creative.

At first, it’s simple, they try the booze, no dice, air conditioning goes out, which gets everybody to strip down to less clothing and even gets the kids to have some pool time but still not enough. So they do a game night. I only saw an episode or three, but, I was amazed there was never even a hint of flirting... the name of the show certainly implies it... yet, they never went there.
