Swannie's Random Stuff

A funny old rainy day. I'd say wet week but it has been a wet month or wet winter to date. This was actually normal up until global warming started changing the climate here, but they reckon its the wettest since 2001 and more to come. Technically it is a negative Indian Ocean Dipolar, the measure of ocean temperature difference between the African side and Australian side, combined with El Nina in the Pacific, drawing up all the weather systems from the Southern Ocean. Southern hemisphere so our weather systems go in circles with the Coriolis Effect, not jetstreams.

I was up in the Pilbara earlier for a rodeo and a chance to have a chat to some of the first nation people who would all be there. Camped out near Marble Bar.

Two types of rain and weather down here in the city though. It is 200km x 50km as a city so any type of weather forecast is eventually going to be correct somewhere. It will rain today doesn't mean much to locals, who don't own umbrellas anyway as it doesn't really rain for long. Otherwise it could be a localised storm even and drop 50mm in one area and nothing 20km away.

At present though it is just rain all over. The grass is unable to absorb anymore water into the soil so turning to mud, especially with the Labrador chasing and sliding all over it. Will probably have to rip it all up and drop another one down in the spring. It might not be a bad idea, using sports ground mesh underpinnings to give it some structure. The border collie used to go in straight lines, the lab slides around like he is stealing third base. Anyway, clouds and light rain as far as you can see, which given less than 6 months ago the place was on fire...

Come to this friday morning and it was coffee out with a few people. One poor overstressed lady lost the plot a bit inside the cafe and started yelling. It's hard to imagine the stress levels some people are under and what it does for mental health. She really let loose at everyone. Her focus on me was wearing shawl over my dress and finished off with going off about being " a right proper posh cunt" with a healthy emphasis on cunt. Anyway, moved on from that outburst but when I got home i thought about shawl wearing and posh cunt and how to represent that.
So here is my shawl wearing re-imagined...

Have a good weekend.

So for someone that seems to enjoy the bush.....😁

Has your posh pudenda been laser treated? looks as if it is primed for a lavish licking, but not the best way to chill the champers

Blinded by the science!, I love it when you talk dirty. I bet you are unbeatable at scrabble.

Have a good weekend.

Such a Sexy weather Report. You have a great weekend even if it has to be indoors. I'm sure you can manage some fun😘😘

Here in UK I hit a monkjack deer and it took out my radiator, of course it was uninsured and did £2k damage so ì appreciate what a bull might do.
Usually a fatality. They had a Cannonball Run most years between Darwin and Adelaide, but you can imagine what a road collision does to a supercar...
I would so love to pop that cork !!!
Oh and the pics you took of your surroundings are nothing short of AWESOME!!
I suppose if I let it heat up it might pop on its own once the cage is loosened.
a right proper posh cunt"

Did you feel quite privileged to be singled out for that Australian compliment, wonder what her reaction would have been if treated to the shawl as worn in the photo?
We live in stressful times, not everyone has the "luxury" of the basics let alone luxuries. Inflation is on the rise as well. The odd person is going to snap a few words. An income is but one end of an equation if debts have had to be racked up to get through the last 18 months. Perhaps in her eyes and circumstances they are an accurate observation. Awkward but we will let it slide and go away without exacerbating the situation. My response is a private giggle at the words.

So for someone that seems to enjoy the bush.....😁

Matter of record that I don't sport one. Barring a couple of experiments with one again, it's been decades.
Has your posh pudenda been laser treated? looks as if it is primed for a lavish licking, but not the best way to chill the champers
Yes, IPL and then lasered about 15 years ago.
Your photos are good enough to hang on my wall., but the lacy bum might raise a few eyebrows
Enjoy them here. Lit has a 100kb and size limit so might not look so good off screen. There are some originals that just don't reduce in dimensions and quality enough to be able to make it here. The more tones and colours in a shot, the bigger the file size. The full frame camera takes 40-60MB photos so billboard sized, not that someone should see my fanny spread over 20 stories up the side of a building.

Scrabble not likely, I don't understand all the two and three letter words they allow. Debates or lively conversations tend to get full on amongst friends. A dinner party conversation might drift from a cheeky comment on a guy hung like a horse on the beach to a minute later the rainfall expectation and wheat yields. We have nicknamed this fellow "Donkey" by the way.

Never quite indoors here, a bit of rain intermittently but world comparatively temperatures are mild. The washing still gets hung on the line outside in winter.

Love the views, such variation.

If only the stressed out lady could have seen how posh your cunt was later that evening,

Champagne puss. May we drink from it?

Stick champagne in it and I may or may not regret the sugar content addition to the mix. That's probably days beyond the thoughts of the person wanting that champagne. Would you be able to taste anything other than champagne at the time, or is it just the thought that excites?

Maybe a little champagne as a tease

It has been depressingly wet weather down this way up until this week. The wettest July since 1892 in fact and not so crash hot in August either. not that we can't use the rain, its just that I am more a solar powered person. It was conducive weather for watching Olympics though, especially as they were in my time zone.

Took off last week for a couple of days 400km north of here to get a few things done. They are slightly warmer there and the rain was already tapering off. The wildflowers have all decided to come out now, so spring is definitely on the way

Fortunately the weekend ahead is back up to 24C and sunny weather so I can see a beach day ahead, most likely over on the island on the boat so I can get a bit of sun on my body. The cold weather hasn't made me want to flash too much. very much out of the shower and into something warm. A quick one on the bed before diving under the covers is about the best I have managed for a bit.

Good that spring has arrived in some parts..

Even with the rain you’ve had, your winter is still better than our summer, wet, windy cool here varies day to day.

Your winter seems to be kinda short to me. How long is it??
Very pretty wildflower shots
Ok so one more question.. Why is the soil so red ?? Iron deposits ??
And lastly.. You have a very sexy backside. Butt you already know I like that!!

So happy to see your artistic self back in action. You were missed. Hope the time away provided much inspiration.

Yes it's true. Latitude and warm sea temperature the modifying factor.

Winter is usually mid June to mid to late August.
A lot of iron and other mineral traces. You have to imagine an old continent full of mountains that have all worn down over a billion years to flat. The soil drift on the wind is quite large.

I wasn't away from here, I just didn't have anything to say. Well, pictorially anyway, I usually have an opinion on something or other. A little bit of Afghanistan think tank work that needed hours.

I'm envious on 3 counts :rose:

Even the red dust road adds to the beauty of this scene, :how is it so free of potholes?

A quick one on the bed

Going solo again, what a waste for the appreciators of your fine contours. but content with your skill with the kodak brownie: Sorry your too young to remember this contraption.

LOL Ohverbatum7
Kodak Brownie is a great way to date us old farts !! Complete with 120 film or 116??

Great colors in the first 2, look's like our spring weather here.

Loved the roiling hills and lighting in the 3rd picture! :)
