Swannie's Random Stuff

What an arse, wish I could frame it and hang on my wall, is there a copyright attached to it?

Stay safe. Thanks for the clarification, too. I thought the last pic was possibly the loveliest open chestnut I had ever seen.
Always in the eyes of the beholder.
I’m just amazed at how clear looking the water is in the lake. Here they tend to be murky at their best.

It is surprising what happens to nature when there is a sudden change in temperatures.

Lovely peach in your last pic.
I think a lot to do with wind action and water stirring, possibly sediment and plant life affecting it as well.
Black Diamond Lake.

Your country has an inventive way of naming local features, Black Diamond Lake, Dead Dog Harbour. well the second name I made up, but would not be surprised if there was beauty spot thus named.
It's never dead dog. Literary rule, the dog should never die. Never makes for a bestseller.
for a day of kayaking.

That does not equate to having a lazy arse. I bet you were quite stiff afterwards.
I paddle surf skis in the ocean once a week or so. The action isn't too bad. I need a bit more paddling time to keep all the rolls in check.

The colour of the water adds to the beauty of the lake, and not a person in sight!
Not directly there but there were a few camped out just around the corner

Copyright... Well we could try one of these new NFTs and auction the original size pic. Lit has a 100k limit, my phone takes 10+ MB, my larger cameras take 30-50MB files. My arse is Times Square billboard sized natively with those.

The weather has resumed its hot days again. That's good as it was a bit too cool for this time of the year for my liking.
We zoomed off south for a day of kayaking around Black Diamond Lake. The last time I was in this particular area was when this was a working coal mine. In the mean time it has been rehabilitated and flooded to make a lake. It pretty deep so just under the surface it starts getting cold.

The two or so weeks of cool weather confused the fruit trees which thought autumn was about here. Down at the farm the persimmon trees ripened up rapidly and the chestnuts have started opening.

Now I was supposed to be heading over to north of Brisbane this week but with their 10 covid cases and state locked down, my lazy arse is laying around over here. I will have to go and get creative.

Oh Lord. :eek::eek:

That peachy perfection is as good as it gets for an arse man. Jesus.

Thank you for ending my day on a high.

Much appreciated, as always, lovely young lady.

You have such nice fruit.

Inspiring!

I really enjoy the life-related stories and pictures you post Swannie, thank you. And that lovely behind is just a joy for a peach lover!
Of course, there's no view of you I've seen that I didn't like.
Peach

I agree. Great even. Some of them don't even have clothing lines. ;)
Clothes lines... funny, you just hang everything out on lines here in full view and there is not a thought that someone might take anything. It's just normal. Decades ago when I moved to Japan, I did the same, and now and again a pair of knickers or bra would disappear. It was annoying as I couldn't readily get my size there, or the fit wasn't quite right. I had always thought it was some delivery guy or something, but when I moving out from that house an envelope came through the door and there they all were with a simple sorry written on a note. It had been the girls next door. Still binned them though.

Ha, I shall have to find a body view that may not be as instantly agreeable. Real life is fun and you get the good and the bad. I'd say after I peel everything off after a 19 hour flight might not be the picture you are wanting, but fortunately there are no 19 hour flights at present, so comparatively fresh as a daisy.
That's a very hot picture, Miss Swannie. I need to dive in the lake to cool down.
Thats right, cool those jets in the lake.

I have heard that Japans Cherry blossoms are out early this year.. It doesn't appear as though you are going to make the trip this time of the season. Perhaps if you chat with Hiroko she could share a pic of them for us??

Can't quite get my head round that, is practical jokes a big thing in Japan?

Well your bad would still be far too good for me.

What? That's too subtle for my sense of humour, I think I almost get as much fun from your witty answers, as I get from your photographic skills which I mostly understand.

A number of people there have sent photos of their blossom viewing to me. Obviously I am not there this year again. No exit permits for us for a while yet.

Not always sure the reason why a lot of things happen in Japan. Two steps left of our reality but parallel is an apt description of things.
There was fellow arrested in an area near Nagoya yesterday for theft. He was taking women's worn shoes, but placing new ones of the same brand colour and size in their place. To what end, who knows.
Out of curiosity, what does a persimmon taste like?
Persimmons taste like persimmons is the short answer. Quite unique. A solid but silky texture. Tangy but sweet at the same time. Usually served up sliced without the skin

I'm not particularly in the bad spectrum

Merely a confirmation of InBef's need for cooler water.

Is that Mr or Mrs Persimmons?
Sweet and tangy simultaneously so maybe like Mrs.

If I may.. A properly ripe persimmon tastes like honey. Whereas if they are not quite ripe.. They are very bitter

I hadn't thought of it as a honey taste, but I know where you are going with that. I'm not the biggest fan of them. I ate too many of them in Japan, or rather they were served up at the beginning of meetings so you had to eat it.
However, they are a decent cash crop. They fetch $2-3 each at retail, so $1 at the farm gate. Per sq m of land the trees do alright for themselves and the alpacas like to rest underneath them during the non fruiting season. Most of the best ones will go to a restaurant and hotel supply group that pay a premium for access.

Wow.. That is a good cash crop !!
Have you been out and about lately?? Having any fun??

Strangely busy this last week or so, even though it was a short week following Easter/passover. Its Ramadan this week so thats how the moon cycles are at present, but surely one of the earlier dates for it. I'll defer to experts in that field.

Talking of moon cycles, I had this text from a mad friend out of the blue. She lives on the saucy side of life but try and work this one out: "No matter how much you want it, don't have period sex during the upcoming Scorpio full moon." Still has me scratching my head but now I'm worried that if I do I will spawn some demon or gremlins will pop off me or something.

Further conversations with the mad mates and the subject was women's arses, buttholes to be specific. The dynamics of female positions in sex means that our buttholes are on full view to others more than we may see others. I guess you accept that all of you is in view as part of the birthright. True, you could turn the lights off and close the curtains all the time. There used to be a feminist discovery program where they encouraged you to look at yourself with a mirror and know every fold and crack and whatever. Never heard of braille and let the fingers do the reading and mind mapping. I suppose if you lived in a very conservative environment where you were encouraged to wear knickers at all time and no touching you might need to discover what was where.

There were a couple of still autumn days during the week. The river is quite nice when the sun is going down. Even though the sunset was on the coast somewhere behind me, the red glow reflected off the clouds in the east and lit up the water in a double reflection. There were a couple of swans hanging around and followed along as if they were glad of a bit of company. Swans are black over here, not white.

Cooler weather required a warmer shirt for the first time this year. The way it sat had it hanging right open at neck so there was a bit of view for anyone standing as I was sitting.

I believe you are pulling our plonker with this assertion, with your analytical mind, can this be another device to see who is playing attention on this thread, and not just looking only to the sexy escaping nipple.

Not sure you do requests, would love to see you dressed to the nines for a big night out, protecting your anonymity of course!

You have an eye for a good photographic view, even if you are aided by living in a spectacular location, and then, your impeccable timing.

I love seeing red skies, even better over water although not much of that where I am.
