The colour of the water adds to the beauty of the lake, and not a person in sight!

Always in the eyes of the beholder.Stay safe. Thanks for the clarification, too. I thought the last pic was possibly the loveliest open chestnut I had ever seen.
I think a lot to do with wind action and water stirring, possibly sediment and plant life affecting it as well.I’m just amazed at how clear looking the water is in the lake. Here they tend to be murky at their best.
It is surprising what happens to nature when there is a sudden change in temperatures.
Lovely peach in your last pic.
It's never dead dog. Literary rule, the dog should never die. Never makes for a bestseller.Black Diamond Lake.
Your country has an inventive way of naming local features, Black Diamond Lake, Dead Dog Harbour. well the second name I made up, but would not be surprised if there was beauty spot thus named.![]()
I paddle surf skis in the ocean once a week or so. The action isn't too bad. I need a bit more paddling time to keep all the rolls in check.for a day of kayaking.
That does not equate to having a lazy arse. I bet you were quite stiff afterwards.
Not directly there but there were a few camped out just around the cornerThe colour of the water adds to the beauty of the lake, and not a person in sight!
Copyright... Well we could try one of these new NFTs and auction the original size pic. Lit has a 100k limit, my phone takes 10+ MB, my larger cameras take 30-50MB files. My arse is Times Square billboard sized natively with those. What an arse, wish I could frame it and hang on my wall, is there a copyright attached to it?
The weather has resumed its hot days again. That's good as it was a bit too cool for this time of the year for my liking.
We zoomed off south for a day of kayaking around Black Diamond Lake. The last time I was in this particular area was when this was a working coal mine. In the mean time it has been rehabilitated and flooded to make a lake. It pretty deep so just under the surface it starts getting cold.

The two or so weeks of cool weather confused the fruit trees which thought autumn was about here. Down at the farm the persimmon trees ripened up rapidly and the chestnuts have started opening.

Now I was supposed to be heading over to north of Brisbane this week but with their 10 covid cases and state locked down, my lazy arse is laying around over here. I will have to go and get creative.

Glad you like it.Oh Lord.
That peachy perfection is as good as it gets for an arse man. Jesus.
Thank you for ending my day on a high.
Much appreciated, as always, lovely young lady.
You have such nice fruit.
We do have good fruit here.

Clothes lines... funny, you just hang everything out on lines here in full view and there is not a thought that someone might take anything. It's just normal. Decades ago when I moved to Japan, I did the same, and now and again a pair of knickers or bra would disappear. It was annoying as I couldn't readily get my size there, or the fit wasn't quite right. I had always thought it was some delivery guy or something, but when I moving out from that house an envelope came through the door and there they all were with a simple sorry written on a note. It had been the girls next door. Still binned them though.I agree. Great even. Some of them don't even have clothing lines.![]()
Ha, I shall have to find a body view that may not be as instantly agreeable. Real life is fun and you get the good and the bad. I'd say after I peel everything off after a 19 hour flight might not be the picture you are wanting, but fortunately there are no 19 hour flights at present, so comparatively fresh as a daisy.I really enjoy the life-related stories and pictures you post Swannie, thank you. And that lovely behind is just a joy for a peach lover!
Of course, there's no view of you I've seen that I didn't like.
Peach
Thats right, cool those jets in the lake. That's a very hot picture, Miss Swannie. I need to dive in the lake to cool down.
A number of people there have sent photos of their blossom viewing to me. Obviously I am not there this year again. No exit permits for us for a while yet.I have heard that Japans Cherry blossoms are out early this year.. It doesn't appear as though you are going to make the trip this time of the season. Perhaps if you chat with Hiroko she could share a pic of them for us??
Not always sure the reason why a lot of things happen in Japan. Two steps left of our reality but parallel is an apt description of things.Miss S writes: It had been the girls next door.
Can't quite get my head round that, is practical jokes a big thing in Japan?
Persimmons taste like persimmons is the short answer. Quite unique. A solid but silky texture. Tangy but sweet at the same time. Usually served up sliced without the skinOut of curiosity, what does a persimmon taste like?
I'm not particularly in the bad spectrumReal life is fun and you get the good and the bad.
Well your bad would still be far too good for me.
Merely a confirmation of InBef's need for cooler water.Thats right, cool those jets in the lake.
What? That's too subtle for my sense of humour, I think I almost get as much fun from your witty answers, as I get from your photographic skills which I mostly understand.
Sweet and tangy simultaneously so maybe like Mrs.Out of curiosity, what does a persimmon taste like?
Is that Mr or Mrs Persimmons?
I hadn't thought of it as a honey taste, but I know where you are going with that. I'm not the biggest fan of them. I ate too many of them in Japan, or rather they were served up at the beginning of meetings so you had to eat it.If I may.. A properly ripe persimmon tastes like honey. Whereas if they are not quite ripe.. They are very bitter
