how come you have a countdown to when you're gonna get laid? can't you get laid whenever?
 
No, not really. You see, I've swore a holy oath only to have sex with my beloved Hubby, and we don't live in the same country. I only get laid when we meet, which is about 4-5 times a year. Our next meeting will be in London, in 2 weeks, because we're going there for the HP-book release.
 
We want to buy a house together, but we can't afford it yet. Hubby says we should be able to do it in 5 years. If only I could get me a good job, I could do my part of saving up money, and then we'd be down to maybe 3 years!

In the mean time, we visit each other, and try to decide who's gonna move where - him to Sweden or me to USA?
 
i'm thinkin' you should move to the US <wink>

i'd be sad if my boy lived in a different country - don't think I could do it.
 
We've been together for almost 2 years now. It's tough. I miss him. I like having him around my home, even when we're not doing things together. He can watch sports in the livingroom, while I read a book in the bedroom - it just feels so nice to feel that he's close, that I can get up and walk over to him any time I want.

We have discussed this many times, but we can't make up our minds. On one hand, the Social Security system is much better in Sweden. USA is more "every man for himself", whereas Sweden help its citizens out more. On the other hand, Hubby has a great job in USA; and I doubt that he can get an equally good job over here.

And my friends are here... and his friends are there...

Perhaps we should compromise and move to London?
 
Hey, J-LE, my little Yorkshire pudding! I'm going to bed right now, I've been at my cousin's son's COnfirmation today, and after spending hours in a church, I'm so incredibly tired... but, anyway, I wanted to know how much you've heard about the Potter Parties in London. Any good addresses you can recommend? And is it possible to buy witches' hats in London? PM me, pretty please!

First of all, congrats to one year at Lit. :) Also I hope you and hubby will be having a blast in London. I wish I was still there, I'd show you guys around. I'm pretty sure you can get witches hats in London. I'm just not sure where..hm...but they have all these small stores with weird clothes in them anyway. Otherwise I know a party store at Highstreet Kensington.

Whatever you do, have a great time in London! :)

Jag tror att det kommer att bli härligt i London! Bara det att jag får träffa honom igen kommer att vara underbart. Jag saknar honom så in i... du-vet-var.:)

Jo, jag ar tillbaks i Svea rike. Fast jag anvander min engelska laptop (darav inga prickar over bokstaverna).

Jag saknar London! Lyckos dig som skall dig. Jag forstar att det skall bli underbart att traffa din kille. Hur lange skall ni vara dar?

High St Kensington, en ganska bra bit nerat gatan, at Olympia hallet (men inte sa langt!). Tube:High St Ken. Ga ut ur stationen och korsa gatan. Ga till vanster om stationen och fortsatt upp. Den heter Party store eller nat. Kanske 15-20min gang. :)

Var skall ni bo i London?
 
Vi ska vara där i 8 dagar! Helt otroligt. MEN, tiden har en benägenhet att flyga fram när vi är tillsammans, så troligtvis kommer det att kännas som om vi bara varit där i några timmar... Jag har ingen aning om var vi ska bo någonstans. Han sköter alla resedetaljer, han är ju experten på sånt.:) (Han jobbar på ett flygbolag i USA.)

Så, vad gör du nu när du är hemma igen? Jobbar? Semester? Plugga mera?

You can get umlauts and French and Spanish accents with the alt key.

â = alt 131
ä = alt 132
