Eleven years of military experience. Knowing the real differences between men and women doesn't make a sexist, don't make yourself out to be a fool by claiming otherwise.

Look, I have no idea about who the person is that was picked as the new leader of the Air Force Academy (and I'm too lazy to research just to.... ) but to be dismissive of someone for their gender doesn't seem right to me.

I have to assume that there is certain criteria (years of service, distinction during your career etc) that needs to be met before one can even be considered for a leadership role. I am assuming that the people who pick the leaders have had military careers themselves.

Speaking for my experience with Indian Armed Forces... some of the most sexist assholes I've ever seen. The female officers are twice as tough and twice as smart as their peers, they need to constantly prove their mettle. And I've argued with the good folks there about the unfairness of it all and their response. Well, it's a matter of our nation's security you can't take chances.

It's all part of the feminization of American male children. Little boys are not allowed to be little boys, and they are not allowed to defend themselves in any realm where the school system can influence. Boys have been suspended for doodling pictures of fighter aircraft in my town. Walk into any elementary school room and see if there is anything on the walls that would appeal to a little boy, it all has the kind of flavor that appeals to little girls and the women behind the desks.

You're absolutely right. Assault weapons and fighter aircraft are only suitable for little boys to play with. Adults who value such things aren't fully mature.

I don't see anyone providing any evidence for why she is a bad choice apart from being a female (I don't even know this person's name... because no one has quoted any facts so far).

I am calling you a sexist not because our opinions differ but because you have provided no examples to prove her unworthiness/unsuitability to the role apart from her gender.

Why don't you, the Indian people, demand a regiment of all female staffed combat battalions, train it up, give it the best weapons, and put it into the field so that it can prove it's ability to defeat an enemy on the battlefield, and when they do, sign up even more and eclipse the abilities of your long suffering men, give them a well earned rest from the bloody toils of war with the superior combat power of your women. Because to say they are not capable of defeating an enemy on the battlefield on their own, you are saying their presence in the all male army combat arms weakens it. Here in America, liberals don't care if it weakens our ability to prevail on the battlefield, all that matters is social justice, not victory.

That depends on what they are playing. If it's cowboy or cops and robbers, then toy six-guns or other pistols are the best. If they're playing soldier, they should have assault weapons, maybe even artillery and tanks and fighter jets.

Common Core, with was accepted by 45 States and DC will be turing all the children into a "collective". Their desire to do anything against what they are being indoctrinated in will lead to a stoppage of any kind of "playing" by children.

The government will get the kids, one way or another....

I don't know if you have kids, but if you do, and you are not up to date on Common Core, you should read about it.

Not only is it incredibly socialist (teaching "feelings" over cognitive learning....and encouraging everyone to "just be who they are" instead of encouraging them to strive for more)....

BUT, and this is the scary part....they will be data mining from K-12. There are 400 points of data that they want to record. These will be done through the computer "assessments" that will be given. Some of the data is about homelife and parents.

Those in charge of Common Core "say" it will not be given to the government, but the states were required to sign on to the data mining as they approved Common Core.

Of course, the states had to agree to adopt Common Core 5 months before the standards were even written (sound familiar?.....Obamacare). Also, to be allowed to apply for funding through Race To The Top and to receive a waiver from No Child Left Behind, the states had to sign onto Common Core.

One more thing that is becoming controlled nationally by the government!

There are very good teachers. There are very bad ones. Common Core is not so much about teachers as it is a "National Curriculum". It is really really bad and people need to push back, have their states do this as well!
