Survivor 25 - Rules and registration thread (Read first)

As I work on the immunity bingo card I’m having trouble coming up with an idea for “crime does pay”. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Sounds like an Antihero story. Why follow the trope of good guy wins, lets write something real where the bad guy wins and thrives.

If you want something simpler, then a jilted spouse use violence to get settle the odds and gets away with it.

A good person gets a golden opportunity to make a fraud and gets away with it. (May be a good friend comes along to help or rescue them.)

I am open to discuss finer details if you wish.

The Antihero/ bad guy wins is the problem. I like positive stories that are good for everyone. The non consent stories were hard for me.

A criminal with a heart of gold would work for me, though.

@secretLace - We need a scoring template change with new category name changes and splits. Or we stick with what we started and ignore the changes for rest of the year.

I only notice the split for transgender/crossdressing now being two categories. What else changed?

Ignore this. I just found the notice and that is the only change.

I just wrote first chapter in our chain story (maybe). Picture a group of guys (secret club) and they aren't exactly superheroes but they do try to help damsels in distress. They meet monthly and share stories about their good deeds.

Society To Uplift Damsels (STUD) -- like sometimes they are noble knights actually saving ladies... and other times they come across women who are down and just need reminding they are still desirable (in various ways).

It's like an open universe... we can have as many members as we want...maybe they even have brother-clubs in other parts of the world. but, basically... I'd publish chapter 1 to establish the premise then y'all can feel free to jump in with your own chapters??

we can coordinate or not... pretty sure it'll work out either way. thoughts??

This sounds like a great premise. It may also fit to the ongoing Heroism challenge if you can get it published before 13th July.

I already have a continuation in mind. One of them trying to save a damsel only to find she owned the show and does not need saving. He is not discouraged though specially after receiving some good rewards for his good intentions.

Do we (you) have to do anything special to publish it in the chain story category?

This might trigger a story in the Mind Control category…

that's the part I'm not really sure about. but I'm thinking I'd publish "Society To Uplift Damsels (STUD) - Prologue" ... then whoever goes next "Society To Uplift Damsels (STUD) - Ch. 01 and so forth.

That seems to be a common construct in that Category... then when we are finished, we tie them all together in a series. (but, yeah, I don't know how to do that either)

It seems we will need to plan it all first with the dates. Or write our chapters and coordinate, then publish them all together when they are ready.

So based on “Making the Chain” and Joclyn’s suggestion we are probably going to do a ”glimpse” style story, right?

This reminds of the Thieves World anthologies that were published in the ‘80’s, I think. The setting was th same, but the characters were different.

Can you share what you have written?

How about we create a shared google doc and just write out the plot points and approx planned length? We can then get them in sync and put some timelines around it. We can wait till all the stories are ready before we start to publish.

those articles were really helpful-- thanks for that! I agree with Bryan... glimpse style is the way to go.

shared google doc works for me -- I trust Sin will take the lead on setting that up for us 😊

The document is up and shared with Jocelyn. Lets take the rest of the conversation in PM's

I haven't noticed the new changes to cateogries. Stil on vacation but ill have a look. We could just add the new categories to our score sheet? Big changes or just small ones?

I only noticed that they changed cross dressers and transgender to two categories.

https://literotica.com/s/robbing-the-hood Is now available, please enjoy!

It hits the Lesbian Category, as well as the Crime Does Pay and Forbidden Romance sparks.

Crime Does Pay completes the second column on the bingo card! I wish there was a good way to share those images.

I had to split the scorecard into two messages because the way I am adding story titles put the original over 10k characters. I’ll probably have to do that again by the end of the year…

I would love to read it and give you pointers Bryan.

What kind of feedback do you want? Drop me a PM and we continue the talk.

Welcome Winsome!

What are you planning to start with?

I would like to suggest looking at the remaining Contests and Challenges and try to work on stories that might fit with those. You get bonus points, but you also get a deadline. Of course that is only helpful if deadlines would help you to complete a story, not if it adds unnecessary and unwanted pressure…

Thanks! Hopefully I'll have an entry for the Dark Fairytale challenge, but I don't know yet if I'll be able to have it finished in time.
