Surreally Yours, EctoJohn

The poses are deliberate, but not quite as in depth as you might assume.
At the top, where my head should be, you see me posed in front of a canvas.
And while I don't paint that much (you can see me talk more about it above to talikat), it's more of a general sense of me thinking of myself as an artist, even if I'm not a good one (or even one professionally).
The middle two poses are my basic, daily self.
The left pose is me walking, and it represents me literally walking every day.
For exercise and relaxation, I go for a daily 5.5 mile walk (weather permitting).
I started that back in 2003 to get into shape (I used to be much fatter), but now it's just a good stretch of the legs and fresh air thing.
The right middle pose show me laying back and relaxing.
That's just me being chill and casual, not a high stress person at all.
Also sometimes lazy, but that's a post that's more my personality.
The lower area (not coincidentally near the crotch) are more primal instincts.
On the lower left, you have me with a sword.
I have a collection of swords, currently 11 with a 12th I happened to order yesterday.
The pose itself it quite an aggressive stance, like the inner man/warrior/swordsman preparing for a fight.
Probably more fantasy than anything, as I just said above how chill I usually am, but everyone has that inner aggression and competitiveness, and mine just happens to come equipped with swords. :D
To the right of that is a pure lustful pose.
Hard to tell, but my one hand is actually on my ass, my dick is thrust forward, and I'm leaning back almost saying, "Take me."
That is my pure sex craving side, and probably the side that finds me on Lit, fetlife, and other porn.

I guess you can say that these are the basics inside me that comprise my full being.
That's what I was going for, but now I kinda feel like some sort of pretentious art snob typing it all out like that. :D

Thank you! :)

All the body shots in this I took specifically for this one,
When I did the first image in this thread, I took about a dozen or more random poses
to uses as pieces for that and future images, but as it turns out, I keep needing more.

I've only done 3 since last year, 1 acrylic and 2 oils.
It's all Bob Ross style stuff, although I am not that good at actual painting.
The stuff in this thread is all Photoshop.

I attached a pic of the most recent oil painting I've done.
Again, I'm not good, so don't expect much.
It was still wet when I took the pic, so it's a bit glossy here.

Now, see, I would hang that up, I think it's wonderful. If art comes from what's inside you and what you feel, it shows through in the end. Bob Ross was no slouch and neither are you......keep painting, you're good at it and thank you for sharing that with us!

I'm not good yet, still need practice.
I do have thoughts on doing another, just need to pick up
a canvas and find a time where I'm in the mood.

I'm glad you like it. :)

it actually seems quite in depth and thought out. And art probably should be that way. You can't be a pretentious art snob until you start educating random strangers on random pieces at art galleries and museums. And I suspect the word dick would likely never be used in that conversation, well except maybe by the person who is receiving the random unwanted education lol.

"Here you see Michelangelo's David's dick up close in done entirely in pointillism.
The artist really captures the essence of being a dick in the biblical time period."

:D

Alright, so it's been a LONG while between images,
but I promise I didn't forget about this thread.
I still have ideas for it, I just haven't gotten around to it in forever.

I'm back at it now, and I now have a NEW piece of artwork.
This one is titled "Full Being".

Enjoy! :)
Very cool EJ I see you got the angle of the dangle just right .. Jk good work bro..

I can’t believe I am just now seeing this thread! Fabulous work! I love it!

I'm glad you like it, and thank you. :)
Hopefully it doesn't take me another few months to bother making the next one. :D
