Is anybody else as obsessed with surrealism as I am? Not just the painting style, but surrealism as an idea, as an emotion... as a paradigm.
I'm obsessed with paradox... trying to open new avenues of thought through twisting and manipulating what seems rational into the ridiculous.
Perhaps I'm just strange... perhaps I'm 'touched'... *shrugs*
And I've been like this all my life. I remember my first real poem - fifth grade... it was about a half snake half rat creature - and I gave the creature emotion and a personality... and I made it hurt. When I was younger then that, I used to draw pictures of skeletons with tentacle arms and blasters instead of feet. I've always had an odd sense of humor...
