So, I get a letter in the mail today from my plastic surgeon. The one that saved my life back in May/June of 2007 and the one I was going to have do my nip, tuck and realignment job. Well... he's moving to Virginia with his family, darn him!

So now I get to find a new one, or stick with the medical group he is leaving. Which is what I'll probably do, but darn it, I want him! *stomps foot*

Thanks PJ and it is a bummer. I hate the idea of going under the knife again, but at least I was going to go under with a man that was VERY aware of my medical history when it comes to surgeries. The spouse however had the same brief thought I had... when it comes to that time, we could go to Virginia. LOL ... Seems like a long trip, but one I would do if I didn't feel confident in the medical team he's leaving behind.

I hope you have a good weekend too. I'm hoping to catch up on some writing today since I have the day off, but I also need to do housework and errands.

Hi, Red. I have a tremendous amount of back-reading to do to get caught up on this thread but I wanted to drop a note anyway.

I'm with au_man on the surgeon thing. And if he can't give you a second choice I would make the trip to Virginia. It's too important to have faith in your surgeon.

Also I just wanted to let you know how incredibly brave you are not only for going through the procedure and changing your life in a huge way but also for sharing it all with others. I wish you continued success on your journey to a healthier, happier you. :rose:

Thanks :D It's nice to see you drop in. There is a lot of stuff covered in this thread, from my surgery that started it and then more that followed because of things not related and even my personal life. . .It really is a thread for support, not only for me but for others.

I'm full of them today. Why?!?

It's only 10 am and I've eaten more than usual. :eek:

I had a banana at 7, a small bowl of cereal at 8:30, a sandwich at 9:30 and now one pop tart! :eek: I really need to get to work, I don't get to eat there. lol

I guess this morning was my hungry morning. I did dream about vigorous sex last night, maybe I worked up an appetite. :eek:

Nothing really new here... Too sore after my work out, but I'll survive. ;)

Body fat is down and weight is up, so still making progress.

Getting some nice rain, just in time for NASCAR at California Speedway Sunday which is also my lil sister's 50th Birthday.

My mother planned the party perfectly as it starts just before the end of the race, unless the race is delayed due to rain, or postponed till Monday.

One is better, two are not. But they aren't as bad as they were, which is a good thing.

My weight is staying where it has been for the last month or so. I know if I kick up the volume of work and keep track of stuff, I'd lose again. I guess I've gotten lazy. :eek: It's so easy to do. *blushes*

I'm hoping to have a great weekend. Me and a couple of Lit ladies are meeting for a girl's day/night out tomorrow. I'm so looking forward to it. :D

lol...I don't remember my weekend, which probably means it was good...lots of sleep and working,and,oh yeah,only one trip to the emergency room due to Mrs.' bruisedrib getting kicked :eek:
 
The Ticker site was down yesterday afternoon, but I was finally able to update my ticker. I've not given a run down on my stats lately so I figured today was a good day to do so.

I'm down to 226, that's a loss of 177 pounds. :D

My feet got smaller too. Not like fairy feet, tiny or anything, but from a 10 to a 9 1/2. :D

I walk so much faster than I used to. I made a comment to pleaz when we met in Chicago this past weekend how easy it was to walk and how not too long ago it was so hard to do anything.

I'm trying to deal with the skin issues, the sagging and the unattractiveness I feel sometimes.

A size 16 pants, petite, with a belt. :D So that means size 14 will be coming along sometime.

Shirts-depends on what type and how I want to wear it. I can wear a 14/16 if I want to have a bit of snugness across the breast, or I can wear a 18/20 for utter and complete comfort.

I can wear regular Queen pantyhose!!! A big deal for me, and even those are too loose so I may have to see what comes before that. I don't know what comes before that! It's been so long. :eek:

I hold my neck in my hand and it feels so fragile.

My fingers almost wrap around my wrist. I don't think they'll meet because of my body frame. But that is so cool to see. lol (little things thrill me)

Did I mention I have collar bones!?!

I looked at an old photo of me with the family and was just blown away by the change. It may be time for a new picture of this littler lady.

I'm a different woman. I mean I am still the same too, but I feel so different, as if I am truly coming into myself and discovering things I always longed for, but never felt I was worthy of having.

I'm very close to shopping at my favorite online store. One I have just dreamed over for more than two years.

You all have been wonderful supporters and I thank you for that. :kiss: :kiss:
 
Woohoo! That's absolutely wonderful news Red! Congrats and keep up the great work!

And yeah, baby is getting very active...
