Not since the 18th of this month to take out that nasty gallbladder. All better now... looking toward a new year, get one appt. out of the way in January and *crossing fingers* I should be good to go. 2007 sucked for hospital visits. I'm hoping 2008 is hospital free. . .I think it's about freakin' time! lol

I did it again!!! Got into a pair of pants that two/three weeks ago I couldn't button or zip. Hell the button wouldn't even meet the hole when I laid down on the bed. :eek:

also... I will admit, to celebrate this triumph. . .I ate a chocolate covered peanut cluster. :eek: I am so glad I had the surgery, but very glad my tummy allows me to occasionally indulge in the sins of chocolate. :D

A simple wow moment.

You know folks... It is strange to sit here and have one's hand on your chest, your fingers just touching the space where the collarbone and neck meet. I can feel my pulse. I don't need to press deep through layers of skin, fat, tissue. It beats there steadily. It's an amazing feeling. A feeling that most folks probably think nothing about.
