It's pretty yucky out. The kids did go to school today - a three hour delay. It's raining right now, but supposed to freeze again tonight. Hope you're doing okay.

Aww... thanks. It's tomorrow morning though. Today I have nothing planned, unless I unpack more boxes, or make a trip to the store to buy the eldest new shoes and me some hooks for my huge collection of windchimes.

Hey there. I'm doing okay. A bit frustrated with my cousin. *growls* She was supposed to send out invitations for our annual family Christmas gathering (which I didn't know the date wasn't the usual Christmas Eve one)... She didn't send them out, and I just learned today that the gathering is on Sat. I work and I highly doubt I will get any of the girls to work my hours for me. *sighs* I was looking forward to it. I am annoyed that they changed it from Christmas Eve to now. *pouts and stomps foot a bit*

It does stink! I get to see most of these folks once a year. Why they switched it from Christmas Eve is beyond me.

No date as of yet, but I do have to have my gallbladder removed. No big surprise there, huh? *shrugs* Oh well, that's the way it goes. I did request and am hoping that I can get it done before the New Year, because the surgery and all will be covered 100% by Insurance, since I met my deductible this year. <<< that is a reason to dance naked like a nana? Right? The receptionist said it was probably very likely I could get it done before the New Year and probably even before Christmas.

If all goes well it'll be done laproscopic and in less than an hour. At worst he'll have to make an open incision and I'll have to stay in the hospital overnight. He thinks the outpatient procedure will be fine though.

I'm glad they'll get it taken care of right away! Even if they have to make another incision ... it's just another scar I can

Hi all.

It looks like surgery on the morning of Dec. 18th at 7:30 am. It should still be outpatient. The surgery is a half hour to an hour long. I'm to take 2 weeks off of work, though if I feel better I can return after a week. They'll love me at work... no holiday working for me.
