Gall Bladder...

Piece of cake... Been there, done that and have the 4 scars to prove it!

Nothing to it dear (((((((((((Red)))))))))))))...

Now MS is a different thing but I always keep you in my prayers, like it or not... :p

Fear coming here?

LOL... You should have seen the cliff notes on mine!

Love all over you sweetheart, keep your chin up and don't sweat the small stuff! If you want to ask me any questions about pre or post surgery issues, just PM me and you know I'll be straight with ya, but it ain't nutt'n.

Hey there. :)

I'm not really worried about the gallbladder (potential) surgery. I'll be meeting with a surgeon, who will review my symptoms and my lab work, then go from there. I'm hoping the stones can be dealt with without surgery. I guess there are ways of doing it now.

The MS. . .I'll deal with that if I have to as best I can. Just expect more Red Whining. ;) Maybe I'll have to start a new thread for that. I mean that's a perfect title. :D

I hope you're doing well. You've been missed too. And I hope you have a Happy Upcoming Holiday. :)

Here is the news on what's happening.

First, thanks everyone for your friendship, love and support. I know sometimes you probably fear coming here and reading about the latest crap in my life, but I appreciate you loving me.  :rose:

I do have gall stones and I will be having my gall bladder removed. I don't know when yet. The nurse at my doctor's office is supposed to call me back today with a surgeon name and appt. time. She believes I should be able to get it done lapro and probably as an outpatient, which would mean no overnight hospital stay. :nana:

I have a neurologist appt. on the 21st of January to speak with him about all the issues I've been having which may/may not be MS related.

I would like to have had both of these things done by the end of the year... Insurance would have covered it all. :p
((((((((((Hugz)))))))))) I'm not gonna mushy it up here hon ... I know you and I know you're a strong woman. You'll make it through the gall bladder surgery with flying colors and come January 21st ... hon ... you're going to be just fine :rose: In fact I see your flaming red hair shaking its fist at the doctors for wasting your time and worrying you so ;)

Dropping by with more hugs and good thoughts......leaving all my good karma here for my lovely friend. :rose:

Awww... Thanks ((((Red))))

I'm doing very well thanks.

Cold and flu season hit hard and I had both at the same time. My young trainer failed to give me notice the Tuesday before Thanksgiving and all symptoms but the last of the cough are gone finally.

Got the exterior lights done last week,

We've got the artificial tree up and decorated, and today the real tree goes up so It's a Bloody Mary Friday starting a bit later. :D

It's my reward for all the work involved in cutting the base, securing the stand and stringing all the lights.

I grew up with a plastic tree that, as the man of the house, had to erect each year for too many as a kid. I don't care about the size but I insist upon a real tree so I can enjoy the real smell all season.

Excessive for two people? perhaps but she insisted on the second tree, so who am I?

Mrs. Au will decorate and has decided upon a "designer tree" with color coordinated ornaments and white lights, so I have a days work ahead of me on a cold rainy day.

A warm fire crackling, a cold Bloody Mary or four, :nana: The Mrs. home and wanting to make lunch...

Almost perfect! :D

There is a method using ultrasound, if I recall correctly, to smash stones but I'm not sure if that was kidney stones or gall bladder.

Mine just stopped working so stones weren't an issue for me.

If you do start another thread you know I'll be around. Lit has changed for me as many of my friends have fallen away so I tend to spend less time her but I do get back to check on those friends I have left. ;)

I'll reserve my Holiday wishes so I have another reason to visit.

Wishing you a very Happy Friday filled with good news and happiness.

(((((Hugs))))) If anything it'll be another scar for someone to lick. Now I just need to find a willing victim. :D  Thanks sweets. :rose:

You Sir, have a busy day ahead of you! Thanks for taking the time to pop in.

Lit seems to go in spells. It has changed, old folks leaving, new folks coming and some (like me) still here gathering cobwebs. :D

We had a real tree the first 2 years we were married, then went to artificial. We almost got a real one this year, but with the hectic schedule of moving into the new house we opted to just leave the artificial one as our tree for one more year. This will be its last year too. Plastic needles were falling off as I pulled it out of the box faster than a real dry one does.

We also opted not to do the outside lights for the same reason. Next year though.... LOOK OUT!!! :D :nana: I'm so hitting the stores after Christmas when the decorations go on sale at Wally-World.

I'm glad yours is looking good. :) Mine will be thankfully quiet. I've been under the weather the last couple of days so taking it easy today. ;)

I'm okay. Took some vicodin and it is starting to kick in. Makes typing slower and I have to correct my spelling.

The first chapter to a new chain story I started came out this morning, so that is very cool. :)
