My evening turned out more pleasant than I thought it would. I got to chat and play Scrabble with a good friend and made a new one.

I FINALLY get to go to work. lol... I work the afternoon/evening shift tonight. I enjoyed my days off, but damn. . . I was getting a bit snappy after having had all that time away from home and then bam! No more. lol

Sometimes you have to do something for you. (I'm pretty sure I've heard that advice before. )

I know what it is like to have a spouse who controls so much of our lives that we don't realize it until we have nothing left that we can call our own. I wish you all the hope, love and luck that you are able to find away to reclaim yourself or at least express your true desires, wants, and needs to him someday. ((((((((((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))))))))))

I wrote that story. It ended up being three Lit story pages long. I submitted it last night. I also had 3 poems pop up yesterday morning and those were trolled. *sigh* What person runs around trolling poetry. . .granted I think this is a personal troll. *sigh* Some girl I've offended, or some guy I won't fuck. So now my poems will never recover their one bomb because poems just don't get the attention they deserve. I know it shouldn't bother me, and honestly if it wasn't an obvious one-bomb on my work, it wouldn't bother me, but because it is a personal attack it does annoy and upset me.

If I get into the story and it flows easily then I can get one done in a day, like I did yesterday. The fairy tales I like to twist though, sometimes it takes me a week to write those.

If you meant how long does it take a story to post once it is submitted, then the answer is usually 3-5 days if they aren't overcrowded by them. 5-7 days if they are and almost 2 weeks if there is a contest going on.

Not until 2 (though I'll leave here at 1). Today is my second anniversary of 14 years. lol... Since I work, he said he'd take me out tomorrow. I opted for fishing, dinner, and a movie, then I sprung on... the comedy club and then dancing afterwards. *snickers* That dancing is soooo not going to happen. He won't do that with me. I've never danced. *sigh and stomps foot* lol

Okay, so I just saw this thread for the first time, and here I am to give support.

I think you're doing great, and I hope you feel as good as you look.

When i was in college I was injured playing rugby and had to quit the sport. I continued to drink and party with the team and without the workouts or games, I quickly packed on a lot of weight. It was very difficult to workout while injured and it really slowed me down.

Since healing and losing weight became possible, I know how difficult a struggle it can be. Congratulations on doing so well, and I hope you keep it up and stay healthy.
