Yes, I do, but I have several days off this week. A new girl did the schedule and she kept me at part time hours. *snerk* I've got only two days this week, since I took yesterday off, and if they don't call me up and ask me to come in.

Oh, no. They hired me part time. This is just the first time I've worked the part time hours. That will change though. There is a woman there retiring after 27 years from the company and she works full time. I'm replacing her.

They hire in new hires as part-time employees first and see if they are going to stick around before pulling them is a full-time. I figure after a 30 day or maybe 60 day probationary period.

The usual girl that does the schedule will probably put me back to full time hours next week, simply because she does the schedule better and knows I'm more than willing to work full time.

Is that what you want to do, full time? Will that have any effects on you being away from home?

I do want full time, but I am okay with part time also. The last few weeks I've worked full time the hours have been mixed with nights and days. If I take her old shift then I'll get days. Which is another thing the manager knows I prefer. This will allow me to get the kids off to school, like I always have as well as be home to fix their supper, or at least have supper with them if they or their dad fix it.

My teenage daughter and my soon to be teenage daughter are very responsible and like the fact that their allowance increased because I went back to work and they have more responsibility when it comes to watching their brother after school, if I or my spouse aren't home.

Sounds like everything will work out good for you:) Having responsible kids is ALWAYS a good thing!!! And what better way than to increase their allowance LOL
