Edible Gifts

One holiday, my husband and I picked out all our presents together, so we both knew what we were going to get. Out of money, and still wanting to surprise him, I thought of a gift that was perfect for him. I got an old baby food container and filled it half with honey and half with sugar. I then put a label on it that read, edible exfoliater. Then I ran a bath with candles, flowers and the works. He loved it! The honey and sugar mix is a great skin exfoliater for the bathtub, and it’s edible so it works in the bedroom too. If the taste is a little strong, add a dab of vanilla extract.

Sounds sweet. lol. . .I'd have to use Splenda. Sugar is a big no no. . . .but it sure sounds fun.

I think for this, the sugar would be better. I know sugar is a big NO NO but even after my operation, I couldn't give up the sugar in my hot tea and two teaspoons a day didn't kill me or hurt my losing the weight. I like that recipe book.

They take off every Thanksgiving. In the time we've been married (13 yrs) we've celebrated 4 Thanksgivings with them and one of them was down in Florida!

*chuckles* It is a GOOD thing!!! I do feel bad for his brother though, they are never around for his birthday which falls shortly after Thanksgiving. But he'll be 34, I'm sure he'll get over it.
