Supporting Red...

Well. . .it is true the first 100 lbs. just comes off, and the rest you have to work for. *chuckles* Or so it seems to be the case with me. I've held steady for two weeks now, so I am making a few changes to increase the loss and not remain at the 105 mark for long. :)

I went back and reread all my dietitian's advice and I'm going to write down what I eat (this is a big deal for me, because I have always and I do mean always sucked at journaling my food intake). . .surprising when it comes to stuff like that I don't want to write, but give me a story idea and I'll roll with it.

I'm starting month 6, which means I get to eat:

Breakfast:

2 oz. protein (Today was Cottage Cheese)
2 oz. starch (3 saltine crackers)
1 oz. fruit (1 med. strawberry)

Lunch:

2 oz. protein
2 oz. vegetable
1 oz. fruit

Dinner/Supper:

2 oz. protein
2 oz. starch
1 oz. vegetable

I can have one daily snack of a fruit or a vegetable.

------------

I'll be honest with you folks. . .I haven't followed the "snack" plain real well, so that is going to change, because that is where I need to behave.

So I pulled out my measuring tool and I'm getting back on board. :) I've come to far to grow stagnant. :D

Hang in there Red!!! As with anything in our lives, <diets, relationships, work, etc> ... the things that are important do take work... BUT the end results are worth it!!!

BIG HUGS!!!

Well, at least you will have a nurse there to help you if you have any problems!

Now about the "rewards"... Hmmmm, you may have to "take care" of that! ;)

You should borrow her car one weekend and go cruising on the strip :p
That'd be nice. :D But she doesn't let anyone borrow that car. Heck, Dad doesn't even drive it very often. It was her gift to herself after completing her RN degree at the age of 51. :D

That's awesome for her! I may would be selfish too! :)
*grins*

She worked hard for it. We were all so happy for her. She keeps it in nice condition (after I told her to stop taking it through the automatic car washes and getting it waxed). . .this ruins the fabric for the roof. So she hand waxes it now.
