Congrats on your progress. My half-sister had this surgery in July of 2004. She went from a size 32 to a size 6. It has made all the difference in her life. Best of luck and health to you.

Thank you LadyAria. I weigh in again tomorrow. Every Monday is my weekly weigh in time. I still worry though each time I go.

I look forward to the changes and whatever size I end up I know it will be well worth it.

It is really worth it. I know my sister had issues with throwing up due to volume control in the beginning, but she agrees it was worth it.

In high school, when I ran cross country, she use to come watch my meets, but would never run with me during the week while I practiced despite my asking all the time. The last time I was in Ohio (I live a couple states away) the first thing she asked me to do is run with her. It was weird the little things she missed she is making up for now.

I miss a lot of things, not because I have done them, but because I couldn't do them. I've been having issues with my weight since I was 18. I have missed out on a lot and will be thrilled that I can do the things I want to do. It is already getting easier, because of what I've lost now. Even walking around the mall with my mom, which is my main exercise till Dec. 24th. (I can only walk for the first 8 weeks). . .We're up to a mile and a half 5 days a week.
