Hello Red and everyone:

Happy Halloween...........Boo!

I'm going to do my annual "Reverse Trick or Treat" this evening..........I knock on neighbors doors and say "Reverse Trick or Treet" and when the come to the door, I give them candy. I started last year after realizing that no kids come here and I had lots of candy to give away. It's fun to watch the looks on the faces as they realize what's happening.......a neighbor is giving them candy. Ya know, afterwards people say hello all year long........<smile>

That's a fun little treat for them, I'm sure. :) I am walking the neighborhood with the kids. I have a Gothic Fairy, Snow White and a Ninja to escort around. :) I'm looking forward to it this year, usually we drive around because its either cold or I was just too heavy to walk a lot. But this year.... I am not too heavy, so walking will be a breeze and I just went outside and the weather is wonderful so far. :D

Yes, folks responded very well last year. It's a sad commentary, butt people today just aren't prepared for someone to knock on their door with a smile, handshake and a candy bar (albeit a miniature)......it obviously catches them off-guard.

I wish it would be...

This is the first year in many that I'm not doing anything for Halloween. Last year I spent days decorating and we had 3 kids all night and two were in the same family. :rolleyes:

The old neighborhood was lower income and we had kids all night...

I would have thought the kids would stream up here. This is the kind of neighborhood I would have made a Bee line too. :confused:
