I lurk so much anymore and don't take time to read many new threads. I know this is about a year old but yay you!!! {{{{{{{{{{{{{Red}}}}}}}}}}}}
I had the same gastric bypass surgery just over 2 years ago. I have lost 105 pounds and am happier than I have been since I can remember. I can fit into small people clothes!!! I'm a shopaholic...it's fun to walk in and fit into clothes now. I am now a size 10...and very happy. I work out regularly and it feels GOOD!! I have more energy then most people at work.
What a life saver this was for me.
I haven't read the whole thread...but congrats...and if you ever need to discuss anything...I'm just a PM away!!!!

I don't have hardly a scar now...and that is after being cut in some of the same places to have my gall bladder removed 6 months after the gastric bypass.

((((HUGS))))I'm down 151 lbs. and wear a size 18 right now in slacks/skirts, 14/16 or 18/20 (depending on cut) in blouses.
That's down from a 26/28 and sometimes larger (depending on style). It's the best decision I have ever made. I walk the track at the Y and I do a lot of nature preserves on the spouse's day off. It's a thrill to walk those trails and not pray for the next bench to sit down on, or to not be out of breath and decide to take another one.
I love it!!!!
