:D :D :D

I learned today... sweet pickles don't agree with me and potatoes still give me qualms sometimes... like ummm right now from supper. It was buttery good though and I want more, but I won't because it is sooooooo not worth a tummy ache. :(

Thanks, but it is like a never ending cycle... still learning what I can and can't tolerate and somethings like real potatoes sneak up on me, some days they don't.

You've done great, hun. :D
Thank you. It's been an interesting ride, so far. And it isn't over yet. I picked up brochures from the surgeon (the one who did this skin surgery) and I've got soooo much more ahead of me, just to get my body in proportion.

It will be sooo worth it, hun. I admire you for being brave enough to carry through with it. :rose:

You know... though it will be painful and I will have scars I look forward to having breasts that don't sag. . .because mine are starting too. It's kinda frighting what they'll be doing. I'm trying to find a diagram that gives some good detail like my brochure does.

So how far in the future are we talking about?

Well... I don't officially count my curiosity weigh in that I took today which had me down another 4lbs. But if my weight stabilizes at 175 then I'll start consultation visits with my surgeon. That's only about 75-80 lbs away - Damn Wyld, that's mind boggling when I think about it.

I average about 17 lbs a month. Approx. 5 mths maybe. I'll then find out if I need to wait any amount of time to see if some skin will naturally "snap" back.

I'd say the surgeries (depending on $$) will happen within the next year to year and a half.

*hugs* I told hub today I thought it was a good idea for me to get a job so I can save up for the surgeries because the only way insurance will cover it is if I have sores or rashes, which I really don't want.

The unofficial tummy tuck I got because of the infection back in May that was done on the 8th of June was covered by Insurance because it was a medical issue, not a "cosmetic" one. So it fell under the reconstructive definition.

Definitely no sores or rashes....stay away. lol

And though I hate that you went through it...at least it was covered. ;)

It was worse than the C-sections I'd had and the natural childbirth I went through. LOL

Yes. And if my marriage was in a better place we'd probably consider adopting. We had talked about it at one point, but it isn't a wise idea now. *shrugs* Life changes and all that.
