It's summertime...

Swimming! Barbecues! Fireworks! Bonfires! The fake coconut smell of the sunscreen, combined with a top note of Deep Woods Off. Ah, summer!

Talk to me about your fun in the sun summer activities.

Canoe trips, anyone? Hiking? Beachcombing? Let's hear about all the fun shit people are doing this summer.

If you feel so inclined, post a picture or two!

Golf just about every day the weather cooperates. Playing in the woods with the dog on the other days. Lots of grilling during the week and smoking on the weekends. There's a big tourist area about a half an hour north, so we locals stay away from that mess until after labor day when they all go home.

How is Larry?

I spent a long weekend in Michigan with my family, paddle boarding, using our floaties, fishing, bonfires, grilling, prowling diners for the best breakfasts, napping in hammocks, getting sunburnt. It was the perfect vacation with teenagers.

Since I spend so much time in San Diego I’m counting sitting on the beach with my flask full of whiskey, attending house parties, enjoying the 75 degree days when it’s 104 at home.

The kids start school the middle of next month so we will do our water park adventures on the weekends when it’s still hot.

So far we have had a lot of rain! I am super excited that I can now ride my bike, last surgeon appt I was allowed to start mowing lawn, this one, riding bike!! YAY

Under boob sweat, swamp nuts, crotch rot, and boots you have to take off outside at the end of the day.

Not to mention pit stains...

:p

Getting naked and laying out by the pool. It's a dirty job, but someone has to do it.

Trying not to melt in the subtropics. I'm living the AC life right now.

Talk to me in winter when it's reasonable.
