An odd concatenation of circumstances draws me to the suicide girls:

First of all, my bartender, Bruno, keeps telling me : "the Suicide Girls, man! You'd love them!" Everytime I see him.

Then, yesterday I see someone at this site calling themselves "Pyewacket Girl". I have no idea what this means; it sounds like a town in Connecticut with a school for girls, a yacht club, and an LL Bean factory seconds outlet. But i become obsessed with this word to the extent of going around all day singing, to the tune of Queen's Fat Bottom Girls ; "Pyewacket girls/ You make my/ Rockin' world go 'round"; and then saying to myself "heh heh, I want to whack you right in your pie: what do you have to say about that, eh?". Anyhow, life of a verbally-obsessed clown.

But then, my partner at work, a tough-guy NYC Irish/ Italian type, has the habit of going "dootdodoot" which as far as I can tell means something on the order the now-popular "badda bing, badda boom". And I've gotten hooked on this goofy saying.

So like any modern person, I google these phrases--and both lead me to Suicide Girls, the top listings. That is just so @@#$% odd.

Are these suicide girls subs perchance?

Goth, punk, and heavy raver in the mix. And when those looks go out of style, they'll be whatever is the latest girl fad. The site is very clever with it's mini-blogs that the models write and the sense of community it tries to foster. They seem to be attempting to draw young women in with the girly-fashion-mag layout and hip subject matter as well as men who like to look at softcore porn. A few other porn supersites are doing this as well: trying to create "communities" that people come back to and hang out in and meet attractive rea; people in, not just places mostly men go to in order to ogle naked models. A prominent bdsm example of this sort of cummunity marketing is bondage.com.

But I think Rosco likes the suicide girls because so many of them wear their hair in pigtails.

I noticed a lot of little goth types down in El Paso when I was down there for a Social Distortion show. Quite a few of them seemed to be subbies just waiting for a firm hand to guide them.. I was like a kid in a candy store. I ended up in the middle of a crowd of girls once again. I must smell nice.

But your El Paso story brings up another interesting point: how easy it is, even if you are only slightly more experienced and sophisticated, to impress young and credulous people. People talk a lot about the power youth holds over age, and they are right. Many older people are amazed and bemused by the sleek and glowing physical beauty of youth. But age also holds considerable power over youth: the young are easy to awe with simple signs of sophistication, wit, and calculated charm or flattery (not by flattering them with how beautiful they are as that will weaken one's hold, but by making them feel that although they are inexpereinced and callow, they are also special and one of the "chosen" to be allowed into your hallowed inner circle). Up to a certain point, before age turns into decrepitude, younger people seem to worship certain older people with the same intensity of awe and longing that older people worship certain younger people (although the reasons for such worship are completely different in each case). It's interesting how that works.

Obligatory disclaimer: B, I am not in any way implying you are old, lol. You actually strike me as younger rather than older. These musings on age and youth are simply what your story made me think of.

Well on young people being interested in older people, I know this. Me and my friends have an agreement that THE MAJORITY of guys younger than 28 suck. My sister is single, and my best friend only recently in a commited relationship, and they refuse to date anyone younger than 28. My best friends boy friend is 42, she's 29.

And it has nothing to do with the reasons you put. It's because older guys are (generally) better lovers, they're more capable of making a commitment, and they are occasionally capable of thinking with their brains and not their dicks. Plus they've had a gone through a couple of relationships, and aren't gonna make some of the stupid mistakes a younger guy will.

Now, I'm not a guy, I don't know why guys like older chicks. Maybe it's all of what you just said. *shrugs*

Well, I'm 34. I agree with everything you said though. I have to add my own twist here. I'm pretty young at heart but. Well:

For me, I'm fascinated with women who are younger than me. Usually between 19 and 24. The attraction is almost vampiric in nature but I don't have an ounce of malicious intent. It's like I can sense the vibrant energy inside them and want to roll around in it. It keeps me young and I don't want to get too serious in life as the things I enjoy require a certain amount of immaturity and the ability to laugh.

I'm drawn to them like a moth to a flame but at the same time I'm picky. I like them as bratty sub type personalities. Witty and playful and a bit of a challenge. I like to chase as long as they like to be caught.

I also like to show them through example what a good relationship is like and how communication and honesty can make everything so much better.

Also, to stick my tongue in places that no guy has ever put his tongue. I like that too.

My first husband and I were very close in age, but after we split up, he went the young-dirty-old-man route (well, at least the vanilla version of that, he was no kinkster) whereas I went the opposite direction--I was drawn to older men.

I met up with him in a busy airport once and, after he regaled me with tales about his conquests, I asked him how he dealt with the relative immaturity of the women he dated. His answer was similar to what you said: he liked to show them things and teach them things. He also liked their openness and innocence.

I go for the younger ones that are also very mature for their ages. I don't mind if once in a while they act like a little girl but it disturbs me if they are really at that maturity level. I like for them to be very intelligent too. I like to be able to have conversations with them, even be stumped by them once in a while. This doesn't mean that I'm not attracted to older women, that isn't the case at all.

I like this one, too...for different reasons...

SG is cute and sexy and well...not so real...to me anyway.
I also like Faux because they aren't all so damn perfect despite their obviously goth, emo, whatever it is called style.

The whole concept is intruiging, but yeah...when this "alternative" fad has run its course...they will need to reinvent themselves...or actually by that time they would be past "prime" so would likely need real jobs at that point.
