Include a link to your story submission page in the signature section of your profile page. That way you make it easy for other authors to find your stories. Otherwise, it may be necessary for someone interested in your stories to follow a more cumbersome process like doing a Google search. That doesn't take much time, admittedly, but every little thing you do to make it quick and easy for others to find your stories will help.

I just did this the other day. I’m not sure why it hadn’t occurred to me sooner.

True, but you have to go to the main literotica page, then the stories page, then the member search page. If anything it's less convenient because of the nonobvious way Lit is organized. I think a Google search actually is faster.
Ah yes, you may well be right, but now this thread has a "one click link" to the Lit search form, so at least folk know the capability exists. Doing a Google search would be just as tedious, for me :).

I don't see what you are referring to.

Better yet.

Post #2, and you have repeated the link in Post #3.

Also, like Melissa, look down to my Sig block (but you might be like me, and have all of the bright lights and pretty pictures turned off, because they clutter up the page).

I don't see any signature blocks. How do you turn them on?

To enable seeing signatures:

Click "User CP" at the top of the Discussion Board.
Then "Edit Options"
Then go down to "Thread Display Options" and select "Show Signatures" and "Show Avatars"

Set up your signature using the "Edit Signature" option in the left-hand menu.

I didn't know this either until just now. I could always see signatures if I wasn't logged in, but not if I was.

Yes, that's me now. In my first year at Lit I got sick of all the flashing lights, book covers and bill-boards in people's signature blocks, and figured out how to turn them off. I then forgot that I did that, and could only see Las Vegas when I wasn't logged in. Having half my screen disappear in a single post merely reinforces that the "off button" was the best find ever. But I now understand Simon's confusion - he too found the off button at some stage and forgot that he did so :).

I think a G..... search actually is faster.

Why do you keep promoting spyware? There are other search engines that don't track you.

I was pointing at my signature.

Which is only text, not a clickable link, so it won't help anyone get there, even if they wanted to.

I have the big gaudy, repetitive images blocked. Got tired of seeing the same ones over and over and over and over .....

All I see is the text which is not clickable.
