Succubus vs rapists

I love the idea but I'd probably more go for a lone succubus as that entraps rapists. somehow I don't see succubi working well together. Not that I know this to be the case or anything. It just seems like it to me.

oh and...

You do realize that you're inflicting more annoyance on the rest of us than lovecraft himself when you continually do this, no?

Yes, and I apologize for that.

Oh and... Only one subbus goes after each person. Or are you talking about the agency part? Each succubus gets one assignment. It's like a spy agency.

State law in New York defines rape as Vaginal. Oral and anal do not count.

"Section 130 of the New York Penal Code provides that 'sexual intercourse' has its ordinary meaning and occurs upon any penetration, however slight."
Info taken from: Find Law (New York Rape Laws)

The definition of "sexual intercourse" (in its ordinary meaning) according to Dictionary.com:genital contact, especially the insertion of the penis into the vagina followed by orgasm; coitus; copulation. (The word "especially" does not mean the act is limited to...)
The definition of "sexual intercourse" according to Webster's Dictionary: The act of sexual procreation between a man and a woman.

The latter seems a bit old fashioned since two men certainly can have sexual intercourse. These two web sites also break down definitions to "vaginal intercourse" and "anal intercourse". They call mutual masturbation and even oral sex as "outercourse".

:)

I know this is your thread, but could you delete your super long anti-LC comments? It's really hard to go back and refer to comments from a droid.

From what I know they kind of work alone. The exception can be when a devil or higher demon lords over several of them for a particular reason or mission.

Obviously succubi are sexual in nature, but they are capable of killing just to kill and sex does not have to be involved.

But the recent surge of erotic horror has transformed them into little more than demonic whores.

And I don;t see where I have been annoying on this thread. I see a thread and I respond.

The OP seems to think is he starts a thread he owns it.

It's already been done and Laurel has been informed as well. :) The 5 page "story idea" is now 2.

The New York legislature moved to classify more kinds of sexual attacks as rape on Wednesday in new bill referred to as the “rape is rape” legislation.

-> Until recently under New York state law, rape is defined as forcible vaginal penetration.

Yeah, the agency part. I just don't feel like agencies and succubi go together. I don't see them as being organized or even having the intelligence to be so organized. I see their minds being somewhat childlike. They aren't children. They aren't dumb either. They're more instinctual, clever/wily but not "smart". They're good at setting traps for hapless men. The classic succubus likes to appear vulnerable...usually weeping to draw men to them. But to entrap a lot of rapists she might have to sometimes appear stronger (some rapists prefer women that they think need to be taken down a peg or two) Perhaps succubi can read minds? This might be how she selects her victims....a succubus with a sense of justice that prowls a city in search of wrong doers to feed on...sort of a demonic vigilante.

Or perhaps this story could be shorter and about one succubus that happens to be in the wrong place and the wrong time and becomes the target of a rapist (who ends up being the one in the wrong place at the wrong time) Maybe she's just fed so her first reaction is amusement instead of hunger and she can take her time with the rapist.

The better question is why does an evil demon who feeds on people particularly care about punishing rapists when she's almost undebatably a bigger monster and in most mythology Succubi are born not made.
Maybe we start with a woman that isn't a particularly nice woman...bad enough to be damned. She's a corporate climber who uses her charm, beautiful face, and voluptuous body to manipulate others to give her what she wants and doesn't care who she hurts along the way. She seduces married men (or women) and gets them to help her career with promotions, raises, and accolades (through sexual/emotional manipulation or blackmail) and ends up damaging marriages and/or wrecking homes as a result. She seduces young men to use for sex and casts them away when she tires of them, callously breaking their hearts. She goes through life with no respect or consideration for anyone or anything except the accumulation of her won power, money, and her own egotistical and sexual gratification. One day she ends up getting raped and killed. She shows up in hell and, because of how she was in life, she's made into a succubus then let loose on the world, doomed to use her sexuality to feed (in a cruel mimicry of how she did in life) but can never again be fully satisfied sexually. But because of the way she was killed she has a strong preference for rapists.

But anyway, succubi are completely imaginary creatures just like vampires and you can pretty much do whatever you want with them.

The article also mentions that i belive Janurary of this year, Yes I give you that its the law now. Thank you for that. Your input is a good thing not abad thing and i welcome it. I wish people added more facts in my ideas like you have.

Recently would not be accurate in the last few months to be correct. You are right.

"From what I know..." about obviously fictional creatures. I don't know, I just love debates about the nature of things that have never existed and never will. Are there any historical references to succubi killing, though? From what I understand of them, from the Malleus Maleficiarum, they're basically semen collectors, which is then used by incubi to impregnate women. Murder, sex-related or not, would seem to be an inefficient way of doing their jobs. You don't kill the sheep once it's sheared, after all.

Malleus Maleficiarum?

Excuse me if I put no stock in propaganda written by a piece of shit catholic who was running around tormenting and torturing women in the guise of witch hunting. Kramer was a woman hater who used witchcraft as an excuse to kill them.

Absolute garbage. The Catholics know as much about the Devil and his servants as they do about God and that is nothing whatsoever.

Too bad no one ever decided in the middle ages to eradicate the Catholics it would have made the world a better place. Biggest example of mob mentality this side of the holocaust.

But I'm not going to launch into a religious debate about the behavior of demons.

Let's just say people killed by demonic assassins did not come back to report who/what killed them.

Bottom line is this is a work of fiction so the OP and anyone else writing about Succubi can make them do whatever they want.

And are you so sure they do not exist?

Reason I ask is I am going to roll the dice and assume you believe in god.

And as far as I am concerned the almighty god has done about as much to make his presence known these days as succubi have.

Faith is not limited to pathetic Christian beliefs you know. And at least the Succubi targeted men and not little boys like the Catholics do.

Actually, I'm an atheist. But if you're going to discuss Christian mythology, it makes sense to consult Christian sources. If it were a story about Pan, I'd reference ancient Greek myths.

It's his story, but you were the one discussing succubi behavior in general. The rules of monsters are constantly changing, and authors, even Stephanie Meyer, should feel free to redefine their monsters in any way they desire.

And yes, I'm reasonably certain that succubi do not exist. Is this a serious question?

The "even Stephanei Meyer" quip is a bit silly. Part of the reason why she and her works catch so much shit is because sparkling vampires playing baseball during thunderstorms is so pants on head retarded that it's hard mesh it with the traditional monster. If you wanted a unique monster make a unique monster. I don't hear anybody crying about how Kryptonians don't make sense. So yeah you can change the rules around some but you kinda have to keep to heart of they myth (assuming it's well'ish' known. You can do whatever the fuck you want with a Rakasha because nobody's ever heard of one. Nobody but Lovecraft and my esteemed colleage from the Hellsing Organization.

I do however agree that you are best looking at the "source" material or as close to it as you can get. It's worth noting that Christians have very little (if any) unique mythology. They adapted stories from those around them and from those older than them. So quite often there is a better source to go if you know where to look or you can simply accept pop culture which is usually easier. Angels have wings is pop culture, centuries old pop culture but straight out of the Bible it ain't.

On subject however I still like the core of the idea here and if I didn't already have a horror flick written I'd be all over this ( still might if I hit a lull while I'm trying to force out stuff I suck at.) I guess having a God like the one in Brimstone (or a mythology that functions that way) might go a long way. Basically God's a dick in that world. So you want a "good" Succubus. Here's an easy path.

A woman is raped. Her rapist is either never caught or gets off either on a technicality or a lack of evidence to begin with. Doesn't matter. what matter is kills him and dies a short while later. Maybe they got in a gun fight and died of a mutual kill, maybe one of his friends killed her in revenge (Really good if you want to push a story about how hate begets hate and someone has to be the one who just forgives) either way she goes to Hell. It doesn't matter why you murdered someone, you murdered you go to Hell end of discussion. Once there she becomes a demon/succubus. Maybe she's granted her powers by Satan and cut lose, maybe like in Supernatural or Brimstone the longer you spend in Hell the more it becomes a part of you. You become a demon in hell for the same reason a peice of bread in a bag with fried chicken tastes like fried chicken. Then she escapes somehow and she goes on a rampage taking revenge for all the women who've been raped.

As I stated earlier I'd probably start her off with easily justified killings and then move her into some serious gray zones. Something where she clearly created the circumstances either all on her own or primarily on her own or even justified it to her self. (I'm thinking liquor for that one, something where she's drinking and she acts drunk but being other than human sure she downed an entire bottle but she can barely feel it and she kills the guy because drunk girls can't consent and she should have been drunk. Or perhaps she pretends she's broke and films a porn and tries to claim that she was taken advantage of in her desperation.)

Like I said, you have to find a way to make the monster somewhat sympathetic and not just the victims bad.

I was talking about my story idea. The one with the snowstorm. Where she was rescued by the older man. She's been married multiple times. Do you remember?

Yeah, I liked that idea. One of your best story ideas. The rabbit stew didn't do too much for me because I still have that memoery of those poor little bunnies lying on the drainboard with their naked butts up in the air, If I had the time, I would write the story though.

Okay, here's the truth alot of these ideas I write it and keep it to myself. I started writing this and then just archived it and stopped. You know like all the other stories i half finished.
