Submitting story ?

When submitting a story I got a notice that I had already submitted a story with the same name. I left a message that I had retracted it because I had to make some major corrections. The first story submitted was never published so I made the corrections and re-submitted. Need I do more or will I be notified?

If you withdrew it and resubmitted it, the whole process should start anew. You will see its status in Pending on your dashboard.

I think I encountered that once where the system just ate or quite successfully hid a story from me and wouldn't let me submit anything with the same title. I think I just used another title rather than try to get that unraveled.
