Okay, so I'm about to submit my first story and I have a couple questions.
1) My story is a little over 15,000 words. Will this be cause for the lit editors to reject it or require me to split it into more manageable Chapters? If they are going to split it, will they do that automatically or should I do it before I submit it? What's the process for this?
2) Some stories have "author's notes" at the beginning. Is this something I submit along with the story text or something I add during the submission process in another field?
3) I've noticed there are volunteer editors. How easy is it to find one who will look over my story and give feedback? How long does this usually take?
Thanks,
Erica
