Sub in need of some advice

I'm a sub and I don't have someone to be my dom, so as a lone little sub I need some help on ways to cause myself some pain and pleasure. I usually like to use a dog collar and leash to tie myself to the bed while using my vibrator to tease myself to the point of a screaming orgasm, but there has to be something better than that and talking to my friends who try to be dom and tell me what to do over IM, so if anyone has any advice or thinks they could be a proper dom for me, I'd like to know. There are lots of things you can do by yourself and in your head. The thing is, I don't know you. BDSM involves a whole plethora of activities but different people are into different things.

If you are looking for a Dom you might want to post in the BDSM personals. That and actually participating in the forum, reading others, offering your views can lead to a good pairing at times.

One piece of advice I'd give you is to come up with ideas which combine both pleasure and pain. An example would be to pour some uncooked rice on to a hard floor. Kneel on it. While kneeling, use your vibrator and try to orgasm before the pain become too much to bare.

If you're looking for submissive pleasure though, I think you're going to need to take orders from someone else. I would second FurryFury's advice to post in the BDSM personals. Just make sure to spend some time getting to know any potential Doms who reply so you can weed out the losers.

To add to what you've already heard, I (personally) don't see how you can "submit" to yourself -- it's sort of a contradiction, y'know?

However, if a masturbatory fantasy satisfies you, read a story and enjoy, or get a video ... whatever. Write your own fantasy.

But if you want to play at submission, you'll need someone to play at controlling you. Lots of chances for that. One thing I've seen people have a lot of fun with is in the role-play forums where you would take on a part and write your part and someone else takes on the part of the top and writes that. You could use the interchange for your own fun.

But real-time, real-life bottoming can't really be faked, unless I'm just missing something.
