I love FreeCell. It's a great brain break in the middle of a study session. I've decided that I'm going to play all 32,000 games - in chronological order. I'm on 42 now. I should finish in...oh, about 5 years.

How about you? What quirky habits do you indulge?

LOL My father-in-law actually has started doing that too. He's writing down all the ones he's done and which ones he has to come back to because he couldn't figure them out the first time. So it's not just you.

As for me, bratcat's brain puzzles have been taking up some of my time lately.
:)

quirky habit?

Stopping work in middle of day to practice saxophone scales and solos

I like mind games/puzzles
I can stit here for 3 hours and do them and think 15 mins passed.

I used to do the Freecell thing, then I lost my notes of which ones I had done so I gave up.

Bratcat's brain teaser are pretty good too. They help me forget that work sucks. :)

Practice my fake Scottish accent... I only do this when I am alone...I love listening to the words rolling off my tongue.

:D I thought I was the only one that did this!

I sing while doing the dishes. I don't know why. I can be in a crappy mood, mumbling under my breath, kicking the dog, but I turn on the tap and it's showtime!

I have often walked
Down that street before,
But the pavement's always
Stayed beneath my feet before . . .

(Ya know, for all the lyrics that get posted here, we need a 'smilie' with a musical note or something. Where's the suggestion box?)

I like to dress up when I am especially lonely. I pull out my garters, stockings, thongs, bustier, some pretty dresses, heels and start getting all gussied up. I go slow, starting with a warm bath in fragrent bubbles. I oil my skin lightly with peach scented moisturizing body oils. I rub the oil into my silky clean skin, over my breasts, into my blly, over my legs, until I smell like a peach orchard. I pull my stockings up slowly, rolling them over my legs. I then put on my thong, followed quickly by my garter, which I clip on to my stockings. Looking in the mirror, my hands usually run over my skin, relishing in the feel and scent. I pull on my busiter, and smile at the image. Next, I put on a dress, any dress. Something that shows that I AM a woman still. I pull on heels, and then I parad around the house, as though I were waiting on a date. It makes me feel less alone, more wanted, desirable, even.

That's just one of the many stupid things that Flower Petals does when she's alone. Other then talking about herself in the 3rd person.

Kotori

You and I should get a dish washing revue together! I dance when I do the dishes, originally to relieve the boredom of this particular chore. I put on some good, loud music and bop my but to the rythmn. Makes for a soapy floor, but hey, my spins are better then and the floor gets cleaned too!

I do the Freecell thing to. I am on #3897 today. I keep doing it over and over until I finally get it right before moving on to the next one.

talking strictly games here

Solitaire- I try to see how quickly I can beat the computer. Once did it in 113 seconds.

Bejeweled - Laurel posted a link to this thread over a year ago and I still play this game. My highest score on the first level is 20,000+. Finally beat my Mom, but it took me over 2 hours.

Snood - this game can quickly become an obsession. You can download it free - just don't register it, and play it anytime you're online. Very fun. Try the "evil" stage... it will blow your mind.

Acrophobia used to be my main online game, but they've taken it away. :-( Rumor has it that it's coming back, though. I'll be here much much less when that happens.

Well, let the rest of us hope that day doesn't come then.

When I'm at work and feeling like I need to "compete' I'll log on to a Trivia site.......and flair away.

Between Beach volleyball games, I can't sit still........so its the juvenile-------Hacky Sack

I travel alot, so at times in a restaurant or an airplane I'll look at a complete stranger and make up a whole scenario about "their" life......just by the way they are dressed etc.

I actually registered Snood.. OMG.. you think the free copy is addicting? We have family compitions to see who can get and keep the highest scores on all the levels. So far it's me.. :D But that is probably because I don't allow anyone else access to the computer;)

Quirky habits of mine.. hmmm I did the Freecell thing in order also. But got bored at around 4900 or so. Now I'm addicted to spider solitiare. I've beaten medium a bunch of times... but hard is pissing me off!

I like to

laugh silently at the "oh poor me" stories in chat sometimes. got some real winner's. or making cold/callous statements to some of these retards. me included, lol.

I do that a lot too. Sitting in traffic is a perfect time to look into cars and imagine a storyline.

Interesting idea: If we both studied the same person, how far apart would our "Views" be?

If you answer as far as Cali is to Tennessee I'd "Volunteer' to thump your bottom......LOL

I could interpret "thump" in many ways. S'pose that's surfer-dude-beach volleyball lingo for something sexual? heh

Dude, you're as far away from being a "volunteer" as you can get.

;-)
